What's the wiring harness for? You show you have a 2018 Limited. It should already have the TSS in the grille and just need to relocate that to the new grille. At least that is how most of the videos I have seen were done. They didn't add any wiring harness to it.

It's just a longer harness so you can run it to the side of the grill. It just looks a little neater and cost about $20.

I'm just using the regular harness and running it straight up. I never really notice it myself.

Gotcha!! Just never seen anyone use it in the videos and such. Will have to think about it if it's that cheap. I have the grille and garnish, just got my truck delivered last Saturday.

    ...stuff
Nah man, I heard from a reliable source they are going for headliners next. Soon, they will have enough parts to make their own knock off Tacomas, and call them Frontiers, or Seattles.

I always found it funny that they called it the Tacomas, because growing up around Seattle, Tacoma used to be a shitty city that smelled because of a paper mill. We called it "the aroma of Tacoma".

I used everything except the extra harness. Didn't see a reason as the wire is already secure and routed neat.

Installed in about an hour, no broken tabs on the old grille and I'm not dexterous. The new, longer TSS cable has fasteners that clip right into the new grille. You don't really need it but it protects the cable by holding it behind the top of the grille. Also added Lexus projector fogs and that took all of 30 mins. One pro tip: attach the garnish and push nuts BEFORE mounting the grille back onto the truck. If you do it after mounting (like I did) you can still use a 10mm socket to push them on.IMG_0043.jpg
