I love the gym, but I've been there done that...lost it ALL...and don't have the time or desire to get it all back. I need something that helps my biking, and I can't bike very often but I could run every day...maybe...

It is. I'm going to hate it. I'm going to complain. I'm going to possibly die.

but I need to do it. I need something to help my cardio/endurance/etc for biking, and I can't bike often enough to get that up..

Yeah that’s pretty much why I run. Early in the year when there isn’t much light it’s easier to get a 30 minute run in. Although I did spend a good amount of time on the trainer this past winter

I already get up at 5am for work, so a morning run is out of the question. So I'll be a suffering idiot in afternoon heat or later evening.

    not enough.
I love my superduty. it's a solid rack. Highly recommend. My roommate bought a kuat nv and once he saw my 1up and how it works and how compact it gets...he got instantly jealous and considered selling his kuat.

Not many gotcha's I can think of other than that security isn't the best. you can get the wheel locks but they don't prevent someone from just lifting the frame off the rack. I always use a cable and u-lock when i park somewhere in addition to wheel locks. :)

I do sandbag workouts after work now and the ones with loaded runs usually leave me on the ground for 15-20 minutes following the workout.

I’m in S.C., so I know that Alabama heat is no joke either. Good for you to push through the mile dude

I haven’t weighed myself in a few weeks but I’m about the same. Similar pace over 2-3 miles. I’m not trying to win any races haha
