Does anyone have a POC Tectal and can comment on the fit? I’m right between sizes and not sure if I should go up or down.

Id go up and then cinch it down. Trying to jam your head in a smaller helmet is never good.

My next helmet is gonna be a tectal race. Super comfy from the ones I tried on.

    not enough.
right on dude. Sedona is its own special kind of sketch and tech. I talked to a rider who knew the guy who made Hangover and he was like, "the guy who made this trail is insane. there are other ones he made that have since been decommissioned because they're just gnarly".

This is very true, better to be little bigger then too small to fit or not be comfortable. I was looking at the race too. Just not crazy about the glossy finish on it

I have a race and it’s a good helmet. Light, fits well, good ventilation. Not sure I buy into that gel padding though. It’s also low on the temples, which means interference with some sunnies. Works great with POC sunnies though. Fit adjustment is also a bit limited. The fit buckle is also hard to reach in the back.
Good helmet overall, but I prefer riding with the TLD A2, which subjectively looks way better and has a more comfortable fit, MIPS, and multi-density foams.
Sweet! But you need a derailleur, and a chain... and don’t leave the dropper down... and burn in that front brake :D

That is a nice looking helmet as well. Would you say it has the same amount of coverage as the Tectal? Looks to cover the back of your head as much as it.

Well boo. Went to install my GX derailleur but the design is a bit different than the SX so it needs more shift cable. Blehhh

Woof, What happened? Glad you are still in one piece.

Been wanting to get out to Sedona hopefully next year. Rode in Prescott few months ago so many awesome trails out there.

Side bar.... saw a skunk out on the trail the other night haha.:bananadead:

Turns out these two opposites are both good trail dogs. Big boy is older and has had all four legs operated on so sub 3mi & casual pace. Little dude on the other hand is a ripper & could probably go for twice that and still play fetch afterwards.
