    Good looking bike. Would you mind giving your quick review on the Float X2? Still stuck between Dpx2 and X2. I live for down hill sections but I still have to get my out of shape ass up to the top first.

    since I came from a DPX2 on a Capra to an X2 on the Firebird it’s very tough to give a head to head. I will say it climbs very well and handles everything better than the DPX2 on the Capra except initial small bumps compliance.

    However like I said. Without trying both shocks on same bike you gotta take it for what it is. Not very reliable info

    If you find the X2 bobs too much for you take spacers out and pump that psi up lol. On the pivot I don’t get much bob and it feels very efficient.

    But so worth it! And (almost) all the climbing is right at the beginning. But it's at 11,000 feet so it feels like 10 miles of climb.....

    Loved that ride. Would do again (and again).

    How often do you see 4130 Chromoly in MTB? That was the standard in BMX but I'm a MTB rookie, most of what I see though is Al alloy or CF.

    @mrtonyd yup straight 1 1/8
