About 5 years ago. Damn, that’s disappointing.

AMS mudguard, front and rear. Both are the front style. I just pop in a few new holes. Happy to get some close ups if you need.

I run it parts of the summer. Don’t need to fold it down, just roll up back window. Key is to fold up the tailgate as you load the bike.
I wouldn’t roll with it rolled back unless it’s secured.

Yea that’d be awesome if you don’t mind. I have an extra one laying around that I might like to replicate what you’ve done on my following.

Cool, thanks for the picture. I was going to go for a roll up tonneau cover but I like the idea of a softtopper for camping and other weekend adventures. Still want to be able to toss the tailgate pad on and head to the trails. Seems like the softopper will work without too much hassle.

Secure the sides first (loosely), line it up and use something sharp and pointy to mark you top and bottom holes. I did this on a few bikes, your zip tie width will depend on your seat stay bridge shape.
Forgive the first pics, it's winter.

Super easy. Not quite as easy as without, but minimal hassle. Love my Softopper.

Keep an eye on Facebook marketplace. They pop up time to time. A gen 3 won’t fit a gen 2. In theory. The tailgates are differently curved but with the soft topper you might be able to just get a different rear crossmember if they’ll sell you one and you find a 3 gen one on the sales.

if I had a long bed I’d be more tempted to make it work camping back there. But I’m working on an in cab setup instead.

New(ish) bike day for me. Trails getting gnarlier, the fellas getting much faster on the descents + more bike park days. Going to retire the hard tail (specialized fuse 27.5+).

Hopefully not a total pig on the climbs.

Hoping anyone help with frame suggestions. Needing to see what frame i can get that will swap most/all my components from a Chameleon with 29 in wheels. I cant find another online for sale at the moment.
I’m still new and not sure about all the technical stuff when if comes to building bikes. -Thanks

Looks like OnTrac "delivered" my tires package today to my office. Marked as handed to my neighbor, despite all our neighbors being closed. We're the only one open on the whole street on Sundays...ugh.

Guess we play the fake delivery Monday waiting game before calling CS.

Edit: Pulled the security tapes. Genius kid just threw a box at a locked front door in a sketchy part of town. Box got pulled into our lobby by weekend shift and its not even for us, its a box for an address down the street.

My current frame size is Large. I am 5’10”. I feel pretty comfortable in that frame size for the Chameleon.

Total longshot here but anyone in Phoenix want to meet at Pima Canyon on South Mountain for a ride this week?

Hey all. I bought my Tacoma this weekend mainly because I moved from San Doego to Dallas and my old vehicle (Nissan Leaf with trailer hitch) wouldn’t work due to disrance to trails. Super excited. My tailgate pad should be here Thursday (I miss having Jenson USA deliver next day). Anyone in the DFW area want to show me around one of the local trails?

You're on an MTB thread on Tacoma world.

    Protect your wallet.

I had a hitch on my old Mazda 3 hatchback! I still have that rack actually. Need to get a hitch tightener to see if that helps, it's a bit sloppy. Might look at doing it in the bed though. TBD. Might even end up in the cab/back seat!

It did help with the rack on the old vehicle. I don’t think my XL bike will fit in the back seat... but I’m going to check that out ASAP!
