Another red flag is probably the fact they are selling YT, which is a direct to consumer brand and has zero dealers.

Coming off 2014 Trek Fuel ex8, aluminum frame. This is stiffer, slacker, and a more comfortable ride. Was impressed with V2, then bought this V3, and like it better than V2.

Maybe I'm misreading your statement, but you can only camp in the same 25 mile radius for 14 total out of 28 days, continuous or not. You can't just pick a spot and "permanently" live there.

See also: fire restrictions. Fires are all but banned last year in Utah period and likely will be this year too.

    not enough.
Corner canyon. started at the bottom of maple hollow and tried to most of the downhill trails. Did them in this order:
Vertigo, Levitate, Achtung, Jacob's ladder, Ghost Falls, Rush, Limelight, Maple Hollow DH.

I was gonna tack on rattler/gasline loop but didn't feel like doing the shitty climb that would've followed.

I thought it was continuous? so if you moved on day 13 and spend one night elsewhere, you could come back and "reset" your 14 day limit? which...now that i'm saying it out loud, sounds very silly...

Bought from the factory? From the demo center, or do you “know” people? I’m also in Santa Cruz, I assumed SC and Ibis would just steer you to an LBS like ABS (both brands) or Spokesman (not SC).

Demo center factory- same thing to me? anyways yea thats where I got it. They did try and steer me towards a bike shop but I let them know how I feel and maybe I saw a friend while I was there  . Defiantly not the normal way to acquire one of these. Its a 27.5 and it is rad.

Nope. 14 continuous or total days out of 28.

Per the BLM website V Things you learn during your DNR trail host class cuz I'm a nerd.

Now that said, you'd really need to piss off a BLM/DNR officer for them to actually count how many days you were there unless it was continuous.

Glenn Villenueve (some guy from the show Life Below Zero) talks about that on his Joe Rogan interview. He lived off grid way in the woods of AK, and one day, a bush plane lands on his "front yard" and the BLM type people tell him he gotta go.

Not quite the same circumstances, but an entertaining story.
