I agree with all of the Ergon converts. Best saddle I’ve run and like you @jjones.yota I’m 225. I run the larger size, I think M/L. Had an SM Pro on the last bike, just ordered an SM Enduro. @jjones.yota ive a got a Deity Speedtrap saddle in Stealth if you’d like to try it. I could send it your way.

Also, I’ve got a Deity Circuit seat clamp in Orange, size 36.4 if anybody wants it. Not much of a bling guy so went back to all black on the bike. First person to DM your address I’ll send it your way this week.

Also have a set of Deity Knuckledusters in orange (good shape) and a brand new set of Bontrager grips in orange. Not going to use them so rather give them away then throw them away. DM if interested.

Im in a similar boat. Just dont feel its a need or necessity for me. 4/6 in my house have had it not including me so i am comfortable continuing taking my chances. Ill bet on my good health before putting something in my system with unknown outcomes which may come years later.

I recommend the raceface Chesters for flat pedals. Affordable, grippy, and come in a lot of colors.

Just put new tires on the BMX and broke them in on this wall.

Got those MTX Red Label pads and have a couple more mellow rides on them. So far so good. Haven't had a chance to test pure power or fade resistance on steep terrain yet but decent initial bite and quiet so far.

Which reminds me @jjones.yota regarding guide r brakes....I really thought mine were in need of a bleed. As soon as I got a block in there the levers felt great and didn't need a bleed. The new pads really brought the lever pull needed to bite point way back out. I really think what makes them feel kinda shitty is not having a bite point adjustment as the pads wear down. I need to play around with what brings them back when pads are about half worn.

After I got mine bled at the bike shop they were way better. Still hate that there isn’t a bite point adjustment though. After feeling some of the other guys brakes they are clearly just not a great brake. Sufficient, but not great.

That's pretty much spot on. I haven't tried the higher end Guides with bite point adjustment so can't say how much that would help. I was really planning on some Code RSC brakes to upgrade, but probably won't throw the money at this bike as I'm thinking about a new bike next year.

Kind of on topic to the discussion -- I lowered my seat post about 1/8-1/4" yesterday and felt much better. I wasn't getting chaffing but I think I'm more comfy in the saddle now.

Thats what @jjones.yota needs to do before he buys this killer deal of a saddle!
