Where I ride certainly isn't world-class but it's still pretty good riding. But dang....if I could have views like that and finish up with some In-n-Out....ugh. Amazing.

This will forever go down as one of my favorite MTB videos of all time.
Want something to be good MTB product, send it through the over exaggerated hype train that every MTB company does.

Kitsuma looks like it would be too steep for her abilities in two videos I watched mostly at the beginning of the downhill part but the dude was also going balls to the wall, and then I watched another video of a chick riding it and it seemed way less steep and also like my wife would be okay riding it.

thanks for the information though, maybe I’ll give him a call

Yeah we're talking in hypotheticals considering all the variables. Kitsuma is groomed relative to most WNC trails. Fitness is important considering the climb on that trail, too

Would make for a big adventure if your wife is outgoing! Who knows - maybe it's perfect

I would stick with DuPont trails if she's relatively new. Kitsuma covered in leaves would be a tricky. At DuPont, park at Lake Imaging and go up Jim Branch- do Hooker and ride Hickory clockwise then finish on Ridgeline.

Great intermediate/beginner recommendation. If for no other reason it’s still super fun but an easy bail back to the car if it’s not working out.

+1 here. Pisgah has some epic rides but DuPont is better for those just starting out. The above route is a great entry to DuPont. I still ride Ridgeline often just because it's fun.

I would also check out Ride Kanuga bike park in that area. Quite the climb to get to the top, but downhill for all skill levels.

I love how he’s name dropping in the beginning. Hunt Wheels comes to mind lol.

I’d be in if we could find some investors.

Hunt has actually come a long way since that video was made. They're not a "slap a sticker" company anymore.

I know it's not oneup, but Fanatik is running a 20% off sale for the PNW Loam Dropper, which is also a fantastic dropper. Super reliable in wet, muddy, cold conditions we ride up here.
