I have a truxedo roll up one. it works with the Fox Tailgate pad. I have to close the tonneau first, then close the tailgate for it to work. the tonneau won't close if the tailgate is up for reasons I'm sure make sense...

but it works, I have the tailgate pad on it right now, with cover closed, I can grab a pic for you if you like when I catch a break from work.

LSR/ HSR is? the back is off, low, high for rebound. front has a nice turn adjuster that is free. Doesn't have preset click spots.

So my buddy has offered me his barely used carbon rims for a stupid deal - Enve AM30s. Currently running the standard 29" Roval alloy rims that come with a Stumpjumper; but am having the itch to upgrade. There would be minimal weight savings (if any at all), but curious about others that have made the switch from alloy to carbon and if there is a noticeable difference in riding.

And lets not forget about the cool factor that comes with the i9 torch hubs.

Float like a butterfly sting like a loud ass bee..

AM30's are Enve's affordable line up, if they're 50% off awesome deal, if he's original owner and will help you if you ever damage them even better deal.

We are looking a *much* friendlier discount than 50% off. Sounds like I cant really go wrong

    not enough.
I'd agree with @whitedlite ...if it's a great deal and he'll help you with any potential damage.
I've run carbon rims on my following and they've been great. faster rolling and easier to get up to speed, tbh. (but i'm running the weareone unions).
I'm honestly waiting on my LBS to pick up weareone so I can get the unions on my enduro bike instead of the shitty aluminum rims that are on there right now that I've completely hated and can't wait to destroy.

i took my bed rack and tent off for the winter and went back to my oem tonneau cover. works with my dakine pad and i can fit 3 bikes in the bed at an angle (did it on sunday). the cover only clicks once with the pad on but its a pretty good seal

everyone i know who has moved to carbon rims loves them. compliance is unreal. double check to see how warranty works, or if your buddy will warranty if something happens.

definitely seen my share of carbon (and aluminum) rims cracking and bending - depending on your riding style, of course.

LSR/HSR = low speed rebound / high speed rebound.

The rear “off/low/high” is not rebound but preset compression dampening settings. Typically used to switch between descending, regular riding and climbing. Bikes are designed so well that most people leave their rear suspension in the “off/open” position and only use the high setting for long road climbs.

Rebound is usually a red “stereo” knob type dial.

I got the rebound dial on the front fork I think. There's an open/closed dial that moves freely without clicks. Closed locks out the fork.
Not sure if the rear has a dial at all.

Fox I posted awhile back is officially off the bike and will let TW bros get first dibs.

Fox 36 Rhythm 160mm travel, 51mm offset, boost ~45 miles on it. $450+shipping.

Fork: rebound is on the non-disc side on the bottom of the lower leg. Usually has an additional cap on it that you remove to expose the red adjuster. The blue cap on the top of the fork on the non-disc side is compression. It’s either a sweep adjuster (no clicks) that goes from soft to firm or a lockout. Sounds like the fox grip adjuster.

Shock: red dial under the blue flip
Level is rebound. Turning the red part adjusts rebound.

I have the cheap Tyger rollup and a Dakine pad, works fine. Three years old, parked outside 365 days a year and the sub-$200 Tyger still works great.

Dakine standard small tailgate pad or the DLX for third gen? I had one for my Tundra years ago but they didn't have the other ones. Miss it. I know the chart on their website points to the DLX but wanted to see what you guys thought.
