They don't run sales unfortunately, but back when I ordered there were a few youtuber reviews that had codes they gave out somewhere in their videos.

I used "focoflowshow" for 10% off, unfortunately that coupon says no longer valid.

Fingers Crossed though, I wouldn't mind ordering another set, they're a great group of guys running that company.

    :fingerscrossed:

Some riders need to learn to downshift before the climb or if on the climb let off a little crank pedal pressure as you shift. Your drivetrain will thank you and so will your wallet in the long run.

I just purchased lights from OL and searched as well for some type of code. Everything I saw, even on their website said the don’t offer these any longer.

That said, the service they have provided up to this point has been top notch. They sent me an additional helmet mount at no charge because the one that came with the Evo package wouldn’t work on my specific helmet.

And the lights are amazing. Solid and put off great light and no external batteries to mess with. I’ve posted a few photos recently with the lights going, a few posts back from last night as well. You will love these lights.

Anyone have experience with the newer tires from Ethirteen? Looking at the enduro, trail or downhill tires in either race or mopo casings. Some of these tires are half the price of Maxxis and Schwalbe so I'm entertaining them with that in mind.

I too refuse to pay more than $50 a tire. That being said Michelin is only tire I’ve ran lately. Please try the E13 and report back!

I agree - I always try to be in the appropriate gear before I hit a section, and it's not too difficult to shift during a non-power section of a pedal when needed. However, I know I am guilty of shifting on a climb and under load. Heart rate is pegged, panting like a dog trying to not passout, puke or fall over, all while trying to maintain an outward composure like everything is OK. The timing of a shift becomes the least of my worries.

Has anyone put new tires on a bike (same EXACT tires, same casing, some sidewall, same compound - Maxxis DHF/Rekon combo) after the previously ones had been on 2-3 years?

New ones feel so much stiffer. Same pressures, but feels like I should be running 2-3 psi (27.5+ tires, so this is like 20% lower pressures) less for same ride comfort, performance, etc.

Rode on the new tires 4-5 rides now, and they just feel unbelievably stiff.

Not to be a smartass but is the air temperature messing with your perception? Cold air makes mine feel more stiff.

I could see if maybe I went from 90degree weather to 40 degree, but it's still mild around Charlotte. I rode today and it was upper 70's. I rode Saturday or Sunday, mid 50's, felt just as stiff.

I know that when I get a new tire it is usually harder to mount. It is much more pliable after a couple of months. Probably much more noticeable on a 27.5+ tire with all of that sidewall

That's sort of what I'm getting at. Bend and flex something enough times and it's sure to become more pliable. Just shocked me how much of a difference it made. Damn DHF's last forever, so I just replaced it because I was sick of looking at the same old tire.

Thanks for the good feedback! Ordered the combo. Love the fact they use usbc.

I’ve had some NiteRider lights in the past but they always seemed outdated no matter how new they were.

Now I hope they have some stock because the quoted lead time is a little excessive.

Any time! Glad it helped out! I think when I ordered mine, it took two weeks to receive, which is what they were stating on the website at the time. I think they have that lead time dialed in right now. I know they were at the MTB festival in Sedona this past week and moving shop locations (i follow them on Instagram - fun to see what they post and such). I am going to order a second bar mount but saw those are about 3 weeks out right now.

You will be really impressed with these! Post up when you get your first ride in!

I'm excited for sure, I had two decent NiteRider lights previously, a mini 900 on the helmet, and 1100 on the bars. But actual output on medium was probably ~500 and ~700. I just hated how they didn't have USBC.

I'm a little bit of a flashlight/lighting nerd in general so pretty pumped to see these and flex on the locals with them.

ive been eyeing the night rider lumina max 2500 for some night riding. that seems to have usbc now. maybe its just new? my old night riders work pretty well, just dont have the power output for some trail riding. one of them wouldnt be bad for a helmet mount though
