Riding and flyfishing go hand in hand. This is some wild (but not native) rainbow trout in the mountains of North Georgia.

    not enough.
i'm not entirely sure. I've never seen anyone fishing out of it. It's a very shallow stream so idk how fishing would work here. The land ownership is also funky in that area so I have no clue who owns what and what's allowed/not allowed on it. :/

@abacall that stretch is one of the ones I was thinking I could do a fish and ride on. I'll have to dig into the viability of it.

@ginseng27 I've pulled somew worthy brown trout out of streams shallower than that before. Its possible!

    Good luck with the recovery!!!

I have a RakAttach that I bought like 5 years ago. I hit it with some WD40 every now and then, but it's otherwise worked flawlessly over the years. I'd also say that, with our wedge camper, it's one of the best accessories we have added to the truck. It's so much easier to swing the rack out than tilt it down, plus it makes accessing the bed much much easier.

I've also seen the Kuat Pivot v2 up close and it looks like an improvement over the RakAttach design. I'm not sure if it's built as robustly as RakAttach, but it's definitely easier to use.

Yes I'm hearing good things, also. That crew has been fundamental in growing downhill riding in Georgia/Alabama. Back in the day Jarrod just bought some land, built massive jumps, and anybody could come ride - good to see he is legitimizing things. It's a great addition to the Atlanta riding scene whereas historically riders ventured way north to Windrock or Pisgah for heavy riding. That crew has built jumps long as I remember but folks are saying the rake and ride steeps are top notch, too.

I had to take out the extension post to shorten that park bike stand because it was built for Wilt Chamberlain. It goes up to like 7 feet.

are the bars turned around on the left bike on purpose? the wheelbase is a bit too long to sit properly? or maybe something with the brake caliper?

I have 2 Trek FX2 Bikes and the axle quick release skewer only fits in one direction. Its the only way I can think of to mount the bicycles. One looks normal and one has the handle bar backwards.

Im sure you already tried and it sounds dumb, but can you flip the axle mount on the rack 180°?

Been away a little. I’ve got a question for the Santa Cruz Tallboy riders. Do they tend to run larger or smaller or true to size? I’m 6’ 1 1/2”. Cut off for Large is 6’ 1 on the chart. I know everyone has personal preferences but On averages I wonder if a Large will work.
