God, would that be shock for most kids now. I teach 4th grade in Park City, UT. Those kids, and their families, would freak out if that were the norm. Average house price? $3M.
    All for it!:yay:

I love it. I had to upgrade the pedals, saddle and grips immediately but besides that it's been pretty decent. The stock cable brakes have gotten a little faded so I've adjusted it a few times but hasn't gotten bad enough for me to want to dump more money into it. I went with the flatbar version since I will always see myself MTB-first and didn't want to have to go between dropbars to flatbars on my enduro bike but after 10-15miles my hands start to cramp a bit. I knew I was going to use it more on the street than actual gravel so that's why I went with the smaller tire (and cheaper) X vs. the redwood but if you want to use it for it's proper intended use, I'd go redwood. These 700x35 Kenda Smallblocks are a little terrifying on gravel or anything that's even a bit loose.

New boxxer felt amazing. Felt solid and soaked up all the little stuff.
also didn’t effect the climbing at all, actually got a new PR for total amount ascent lol

those things are so hard to ride...for some reason my brain can't compute it haha. One of my friends is really good at riding unicycles and tried to teach us...it just didn't work haha

When I was learning, the really tricky thing for my brain was smoothing the transition of the pedals going past the 12 and 6 position. When pushing down with one foot, it's really hard to remember to pull it back up so the other can come down. That and minimizing torque steering by pedaling really softly is not intuitive.

I don't ride it a whole lot anymore, but it is pretty funny to try to teach my friends to ride it lol

Fathers Day fun! Best time of year to ride in northern Utah. Dirt is still tacky, no dust, not crowded.
Got a shuttle to lift laps.

    Yeah.
Where'd you ride? I was at Handcut Hollow, not knowing they were running 2 stages of the enduro from the hub. Luckily there were other options and got a few runs in.

At Hobbs, we did the Sawtooth downhill trail and the Wolf Den loop. Until someone says otherwise we're claiming first tandem down Sawtooth lol.

    Yeah.
Thought that might be Hobbs. Wolf Den West going down is one of my favorite runs in the area. I haven't done Sawtooth or anything else on the other side of the highway. I did a couple runs down Interplanet Janet, getting the feel for the jumps, and one run down The Body Machine. I know why they call it that now, quite the workout for a downhill trail. Also found an upper trail on the south end of the Traverse Loop behind my house that I had missed. There's a house off one of the drainage spurs where the back yard has fallen off into the drainage -- the back wall is sitting right at the edge now, and the fence is busted up and halfway down the hill. Not sure I'd feel safe in that house!

Love those trails, just wish they were easier to get to from my house since they are right there. This winter I may try to scout a line down to the trails from my yard, but there's a super steep rock outcropping to get past, then the creek. The creek is a pretty deep drainage, so might be tough finding a way across without building a bridge. The sidewalk across the street that goes straight to the bottom is just no fun either way, but it may end up being the best option.
