Maybe Amazon Olight 3500. Sometimes you can find it for $120. It's probably a great light, but no experience with it.
It's the same light as the Moon 3500.

    Going cheap on lights....

Actually test rode one of my LBS's tech's Following yesterday. Cannot get over how bottomless the rear is over bumps and drops. Did not feel like a 130/120mm bike at all.

    Haha exactly. Fake news!

I've got a few sets of NiteRiders. They work fine although I wish the beam was wider, it's very concentrated. But the housing construction is a strong metal and has help up very well. Super easy to recharge, too

DW makes great suspension no doubt. I've had several DW bikes and they definitely swing well above their class. Seems like other brands are catching on and coming out with more progressive linkages.

No really, when was the last time you saw a broken Santa Cruz, Ibis, or Pivot? There's levels to the frame game, some i'd huck of anything and others i'd be second guessing. For the record 3 of my last 5 bikes have been aluminum, one steel. Frame material never really meant much to me, I shop for geometry/suspension. Carbon wheels are damn amazing though, I'm on my 4th season on my current wheelset haven't ever touched a spoke.

New to me bike day! Bought the frame used and got the brakes from @abacall . This thing feels so weird considering I'm coming from a Trek Stache. Pretty excited to a get a solid ride in tomorrow! Just gotta dial in the suspension pressures and settings. There is also a creek coming from what sounds like the dropper post, hopefully I just need to tighten the saddle cause the sound goes away when I'm standing.

    The big parts are:
    Pike Ultimate
    Sram Code RSC
    GX Eagle drivetrain
    NOBL wheels with i9 Hydras
    Oneup Dropper
Maxxis DHF 29x2.5 front and Rekon 29x2.4 rear
Combination of OneUp, Wolf Tooth Components and i9 parts everywhere else.

@BalutTaco I have the Evo Downhill package from Outbound Lighting. Comes with a bar light and helmet light. Full contained units, so no battery packs and wires to run. I’ve had them for a year, really like them and think they do really well out on the trails. I just ordered another set for my wife, should ship out today from what the owner told me.

This is the only light i have experience with. There are others, but I like that you don’t have to run wires for these and you get what I consider great run time before having to recharge.

I'm gonna have to sit on this. $365 for lights! :annoyed: Almost a price of a season ski/snowboard lift ticket HAHAHA

How often do you plan on night riding. I try to twice a week so the price I felt was justified

I was using them 3-4 times a week through the winter. I felt the same way as you when I purchased them, man that’s a lot of money! But….they are worth it. There’s cheaper stuff out there of course, but man these things light up the night!

And the other thing I like, the owner gets back in minutes on email. It’s crazy. I haven’t had issues, but I’ve asked some questions about accessories that I’ve needed. He’s helped me out with the helmet mounts, bike mounts. He seems like a good dude! I know there’s a company out there with lights in the same price range and people can’t get service when needed, so that also has been a plus in my book.

I bought these after @whitedlite posted up on them last year and haven’t looked back!

Awesome bike but seems like terrible rear shock placement. It would literally eat shit the whole ride

I left mine on a vehicle and dropped it on the road in Hawaii. Went back and found it and the owner sent me a new one and said send it in we will use it as an advertisement for durability.

I’ll buy another set and rock two evo in the bars eventually lol.

I have ridden Eminent bikes (non Ebike) and they are pretty sweet. The linkage makes it really smooth travel for the rear. Carbon - nothing wrong with it, personal choice.

    https://eminentcycles.com/pages/bikes

My Intense Primer (2018) is phenomenal IMHO and is ridden far away from the parking lot.
