I think they're going to be canceling any of the "47%" off deals. I received an email say the order is on hold and reach out to one of their reps who confirmed it was in fact in error.

 

I guess that's like Northern KY being its own state.. lol. People from NKY always make sure they say "northern" when asked where they are from. Friggin' city folk...

 

Glad to hear they were able to get an order in before the prices reset. Kinda bummed I didn’t pony up on a rig myself.

For those wondering, I was joking about the site glitch. Pretty sure it was legit temporary pricing. I got an email about the price drop which brought all models to my attention.

Doing the math I should've jumped on the Ripmo XT.. I'm curious on if they actually ship any of them.

I think it was a website glitch because sometimes it would show full price, refresh and it would show discount.. It was hit or miss.
Given with the sale the website may have just been crowded making strange things happen .

 

I opted for next day shipping so I'll keep you posted. My gut says they'll be cancelling the orders.

Heard back from the Backcountry/CompetitiveCyclist folks confirming it was in fact an error and they cannot honor "47% off" but they could do 25% off. Great deal but not for me.

 

add an extra 12% cash back from active junky and that's still a solid deal...definitely not 47% but not bad haha

So that raises the question, did we just see cost on these bikes?
Because a 46% markup is huuuuugeeeee..

Read the terms, certain brands aren't included in the cashback unfortunately..
I checked last night and was for sure pulling trigger if I could stack 12% with 46% off.

 

if the window near the cab can open I would put down a deposit. Been wanting a shell for awhile and was going to put a deposit down on a rsi this winter to hopefully get by may next year. this may be my next best option. its only like a 12 hour drive too

 

they have a solid design. The price isn't terrible though considering a fiberglass cap with comparable options is pretty much the same price. I know I can't fit my gravel bike in the back with the seat up so I'm sure some extra headroom would be good for bikes....If only those caps made the bed longer haha.
