PSA: backcountry’s 20% coupon is live and works on a lot of great stuff. If it doesn’t apply to something in your cart, contact a gear head and they usually make it work. i got them to add it to a new Zeb fork.

Yep, SP2. It’s a lot of cash, but actually a decent deal with what it comes with.
Only parts spec disappointment was the Zeb ultimate. It was last years without the new air spring, damper, and pressure valves. Soooo, backcountry coupon helped with that.

No concussion symptoms, def neck wrench (felt my neck compresssss) and sore...hurts to look up, lol.

Sans cactus LZ...just some comfy volcanic rocks to cushion my face. Fortunately wore my knee pads, but one rock pierced'em and gave me a sweet contusion just below my cap.

Sweet whip, admittedly had to search "arrival" and got acquainted. Looks like some LT fun in your future...nice build at that price point...lifes too short to ride cheap bikes. :D

    How to watch MNF:

    1. Ride
    2. Catch the 2nd half while Normatec-ing

Good game but I wonder why the NFL just doesn't call it flag football when it comes to quarterback sacks?

What light setup are you running? Not sure if it is previously shown, haven't gone through older posts. Looking to get a light set up for the darker months and slowly getting lost in all the options.

I use Gloworms. A little pricey but definitely worth it. Mine are a few years old. The newer models have better connectors, more lumens and maybe a longer battery life. I really like the remote switch that controls both helmet and bar light.

You'll see a few highly-regarded options in this thread such as:
    • Outback Lighting
    • Glow Worm
    • NiteRider
I'm always a fan of buy once, cry once. That is to buy something of good quality (probably more expensive) and you won't have to worry about it (and probably have a great warranty).

I have found spending the money up front leads to a better experience all around. Been slowly leaning towards the NiteRider Lumina 1200 for the bars, and a 700 for a helmet but again with all the options, it seems hard to go wrong.

Another vote for Gloworm. I’ve tried a bunch including making my own (which still works over 10 yrs later) and they’re just worth it in my book.

Also a fan of this little gem. Headband mount converts to helmet mount. Included 18650 cell gives well over 90 min of run time on high (real close to stated 2hr in my use experience) and a spare 18650 battery or two in your pocket and you can go a loooooong time.

    @guitarjamman

Give Outbound Lighting a look. Good stuff and battery is self contained, so no cords to deal with. The guys that make these, come from an automotive lighting background as well. I have their Evo trail package, and that is all I have used.

My buddies ride with Magic Shine, but for me, I liked the no cord attached option. There are a few photos on this thread of the Outbound lights, but happy to send some if you are interested. I know a few guys on here have them, as this is where I learned about them - mainly @whitedlite

Great customer service as well, being based out of Chicago. I’ve received responses to questions within minutes, which is crazy fast these days.

I'm not against the nicer lighting options, but I dont night ride often enough to justify spending a lot on lights.

I use 18650 flashlights with a twofish mount on the helmet and an Olight mount on the bars. I do have an older Magicshine I'll use if I am going out specifically for a night ride. Usually my night rides will be a dusk ride that continues to the night, so the flashlights are usually to get me back to the trailhead.

Any pictures you could send would be great! Outbound lighting keeps coming up in both my searches and ads all over the place - really nice looking products and am a big fan of a the cordless options.
