No photos but I have no doubt my helmet saved my ass during one of my more spectacular gravity checks. I fell off a rock, got hung up but the direction I fell there was nothing for me to get my foot down on and I fell off a rock and hit the back of my head on a rock fairly hard. If I didn't have the helmet I did, with the extended coverage on the back of my head, or worse wasn't even wearing a helmet, I'm not sure I would have walked away. Instead, I was able to get back on my feet, use some dirty leaves as a makeshift band aid and finish out the ride.

I know I’ve had the frame for a bit, but it’s finally complete and ready to ride so I’m calling it NBD! :yay:

Got your message @honda50r, but hoping if I keep posting here @levie125 may join. Weather currently shows rain for 5-7 am Saturday morning. That may be prime conditions.

Haven’t been to a real bike park since we all got together last year. So kinda nervous for sure.

I've been biking consistently since June and I had jokingly set a goal of a 1000 miles when I was around the 300 mile mark. Today I actually crossed my 1000 mile pseudo-goal so I'm pretty excited. Biking is a lot of fun and it makes my brain happy.

Also got to try out my new outbound detour today since I started about an hour before sunset. It has a regular commuter flashing mode which I think it a bit to much flashing, but I liked the night commuter mode for before sunset. It does a slow breathing like brightness inc/dec then some quick pulses and repeats that. When the sun was actually set I then switched to the light being always on and used the adaptive mode. Having the two different beam patterns in one light is really nice because the downlane was lit very well plus light cast peripherally

Thanks! Not sure about the maiden voyage yet. Weather looks terrible for Saturday and I have a fat bike beach race on Sunday. I’d like the first rip to be Vietnam trails, that place is a ton of fun a d will really put the bike through its paces.

Back in the day, before droppers, baggies and common sense. I hit the wrong side of the moto loading dock (that had a little lip that kicked up my rear tire).

    Proper carnage!

I had a digger three weeks ago and haven't ridden since. Big toboggan and missed coming back to the bars resulting in a massive face plant on an asphalt jump line
