    How's the pressure do?

I built my own electric one based off a design from TW...definitely wasn't $32 though haha

I have both X2/DHX2 medium tunes. They're very similar, the coil just has a slight edge in sensitivity over the air and is a bit more linear. The firm/climb switch doesn't really do shit on either of them. I'd consider the Marz bomber CR too, it's a great shock for the money.

Not gonna be taking off any bug splatter from your windshield, but adequate and as expected for a small unit. It should take off the bigger chunks of horse shit post ride, shared use trails locally, and get the gunk out of linkages on nasty days.

A different garden nozzle with narrower internal piping might increase the flow rate. I think pressure is there.

Overall I’m pretty satisfied with the outcome, especially considering the cost of entry.

Since I’m struggling with bottoming out currently I think the x2 may be the way to go. Cus with that I can load volume spacers to get some nice ramp up and dial the high speed compression to help with bottom out. The softness off the top of coil would be cool but if I can get an air shock to ramp up properly then I can run more sag than I currently am and it’ll still feel better

huh, that's not too crazy of a usage for the dpx2. Although, I had the hardest time getting my dpx2 to feel any good on my bike. I eventually switched to the float x and am much happier.

Float x have the high speed and low speed compression separate? I’m convinced that’s what I need to get the feeling I want for ramp up at bottom out and keep it not too stiff off the top

I dont have a tacoma anymore but i do have a tundra.. checking in here since it seems to be more active than the one at tundras.com . Picked up a S4 Status in April and have about 500 miles on it with little complaints. Ive added a GX derailer and cassette, Funn Hubs, blackbird send wheels, one up bar, and a 6% oval 5Dev chain ring since ive had it.

Currently in the shop for a warranty replacement on the rear wheel... oops

The higher end Float X have separate knobs, the low end versions don’t have the low speed compression adjustment. I swapped my Float X out for a DVO Topaz to get more adjustably.

Obligatory shout out for MRP also. Made in 'merica and killer customer service. I don't have experience on their air shocks but the fork is badass

    Great pic!

    Yeah.
I had a 2006 Tundra, as well as a 4Runner with the 4.7. Great motor, just need to replace the timing belt every 90K or so. I was sad when you could no longer get that motor in the 4Runner. Looks like he did the timing belt recently, maybe a bit late. Looks to have a bit of rust, but it's a PA truck and frame looks good (replaced in 2016), so not abnormal. No idea whether that is a fair price.

I didn't need a full size, and that thing seemed like a behemoth coming from a 1st gen Tacoma. I waited for the 2nd gen to get a few years in and went back to a Tacoma in 2009.

Thanks to you both for the quick feedback. Yes I noticed the mild rust but I'm in Tennessee so it wouldn't get any worse. I'm going to offer him $10k if I hear back from him, fly in and drive it back. So sell my Tacoma for $15k, make $5k, and have an equally reliable bigger truck. No brainer for my situation. I drove that generation Tundra for the first time this past weekend and I'm sold! V8 actually holds cruise control, seats are more comfortable, and seats four more comfortably.

I have no feedback, but those things are going for a mint these days. That price is actually fair. Keep me in the loop on what you find out. I changed jobs recently which may force me to sell my Taco for a cheap
commuter. In which case I’ll be looking to add an older pickup. A 1st gen Tundy is high on the list.

kinda. they do have a compression adjust and then a firm setting. but they dont' have seprate low/high speed compression adjustment dials. just one dial. but they do also have a separate rebound knob.
