Basically never. I do degrease and grease the drivetrain regularly though

Alloy or carbon? I've had terrible luck slicing tires with carbon wheels while running Tannus. If it keeps happening I may have to opt for heavier more durable Cushcore

It is the capital after all

I run this MRP bash guard. MRP XCg Bashguard – Mountain Racing Products (mrpbike.com)

Really? I've never ridden SLC area but never think of this area as especially bad for climbs. Some steep stuff for sure but not usually too long. At least until you get to the higher alpine stuff where there are very traditional steep and long climbs.

@honda50r any problem with spacers or chain line with that MRP? I have DUB cranks on my Spur and this will work on my bike according to MRP. I have a nice gouge in my BB shell and looking to prevent more in the future...

Alloy for now. Theyre just Ibis Blackbird Send wheels. Ill keep that in mind though, thanks for the heads up.

Got the bike back a day early and I went for a ride yesterday and thought the rear was leaps and bounds smoother compared to the front, well i forgot to unlock my suspension so i cant give it a honest review yet lol.

I have an MRP on my fezzari (with the upper chain guide) and needed to put on some spacers to line everything up. I could of finagled it in without removing the crank, but was a lot easier to take it out to give room to work.

Nope, nothing yet.. Trust me I would have loved to throw a tray rack on there, and yea getting it up there isn't that enjoyable. This will be an extremely limited use for road trips only , the FJ does 99% the shuttling otherwise.

lol. damn! i've been misinterpreting this thread for forever!!!

side note....speaking of shoes. reminds me of a facebook mtb group that latched onto the sales at burlington coat factory...the stores always seemed to have some 5.10 mtb shoes for like 20 bucks and it spread in the group like wildfire. and EVERYONE as posting about it. it became such a big thing that the admins started culling the "shoe posts". then it got out that they were doing a culling and the group leaned even more into the shoe posts. the admins had to give up. lol.
