Yeah man, we never got through TWE without at least a flat or two. Used to be like 6+ hours, now you can just blast right through. I need to get out there this fall.
Chainge is super fun! So stoked they built that trail, it's what we needed out there. Hoping for more. Seems like there's some movement to build lately in Utah. Between Powder, Brighton, and Solitude starting new trails it's exciting we may be able to use some lifts to get some variety.

I'm actually just starting to plan a trip 10/13-10/15 with some friends, happy to keep you in the loop if you'd wanna jump in with us. There's supposed to be a solar eclipse on 10/14 too and it'll be in pretty much full view down there. We'll have our kids too so there will be some family friendly activities planned also...

    I back...

Rather than posting 30 mins of awkward breathing I threw together a quick compilation of some clips.. Lost of a bunch of footy due to gopro shenanigans, tis what tis.. The park was pretty beat so we tried to stick the tech stuff mostly.. Was a good to get back up there for a tune up, heading to Andorra in a couple weeks... :headbang:

    This and that...
Just mounted a better hard point than the factor D ring. A least it looks more intimidating…The masterlock was on sale too.

Also sold the Commencal and waiting on Evil. I’ll miss her. Easily could have kept both.

Definitely keep me in the loop! I think those dates could work. It would be the little one's first trip :)
@ginseng27 might be able to make it down too.

I bought what seems to be the identical shackle about 3 years ago. I never did mount it. I was thinking of mounting it on the corner floor where the factory ones are. I like your idea though. I may need to get some motivation.

Continuing with my buy anything but Maxxis trend I picked up a new set of rubbers to try. I haven't ridden a Michelin since the Wild Grip'rs years ago. The price was right, the compounds and tread patterns look pretty solid. Will they deliver, or am I goin down? Stay tuned...

I’ve heard nothing but good things about them. I haven’t ridden Michelins since….hell, it’s been awhile. They were the shit back in the day.

I guess I missed out on the hero dirt that the tropical storm promised. Did it even rain in NorCal? It was moon dust out there today.

I've had these fork mounts since 1993. i used to have them mounted in my old minitruck carpet kit. I pulled them out of storage to mount them to a scrap piece of plywood. the cut-off acts as a stop to prevent the bar-ends from hitting the glass

Let us know. I'm also trying anything but Maxxis.
I was/am kinda disappointed in the Kryptotal Fr. Got the DH casing with the Grip compound. I mean, it's good, kinda similar to the Assegai but more square. I think I don't really get along with more square tires in the front, I like to lean the bike more. Also, as expected with such soft rubber, it's wearing damn fast.
Going to try the Vittoria Mazza Enduros again. I had 2 rides on them but smashed the tire into a pointy rock. I liked it for the little time I used it, looking for more time on it to get to know it better.
