Not as true these days. The hybrid RAV my mom got was about $1000 more than a similarly equipped standard drivetrain RAV. I didn't run the math but it gets considerably better mileage for her use plus has way more torque and handles elevation way better.

NX parts for 8k is still a hard pill to swallow. Read up on the Fauza before purchasing. Imo the Orbea Rise H30 is still the best bang for the buck SL emtb.

    Landcruiser. :spending:

JK that thing is ridiculous. :alien:

It's hard to beat the Koreans, Sportage, Sorento, or the Hyundai equivalents.

Generally speaking, you're right on break even cost. Toyota seems to have figured out the pricing though. The Hybrid I've been eying is an even split between a respectable RAV4 trim and the TRD package one:

Had no idea there was a TRD Offroad RAV4. The Woodland package is new to me as well. Is that unique to the Rav only?

Hadn't heard of the woodland package until recently either, must be relatively new, not sure if exclusive. The TRD Offroad one is surprisingly good for most 'weekend warrior" types though.

    not enough.
yeah, that woodland package is new to me as well. basically looks like a "trd OR"'s baby brother.

the trd offroad one has been around for a bit. it looks a lot like they took the taco front and mated it with the rav4 front. it still looks good though.

Annual bike shop Kanuga trip left me with a dislocated shoulder. Not sure if its good or bad (probably the latter), but after forcing it back in I was still able to ride *cautiously* with minor pain. Think I should just go ahead and get this tear fixed.

My mom has a 2020 trd off-road rav4. It's not bad to drive. My parents think it's not that comfortable inside. They prefer to take road trips in their 2015ish explorer.

If my parents end up trying to get rid of it, I would try to buy it from them first. I think it's a cool car to upgrade my fiance to

Shiiit. $34K? That's downright affordable. Wish they'd do a PHEV of that, then it'd be eligible for the $7500 credit. That, would be an easy sell.

    Love it.

i got no problems with FJs. but why are Prius drivers so annoying? Is it the car or the driver?
