Was up in Vermont seeing the family and decided to climb up to the peak behind their house on the fat bike, sadly fog was blocking the view. Riding up the steep parts made me wish I had a nice new carbon fatbike........

I'm 5'8". Looking at the geo, you might be right and I could get away with a large. Hmmm...

No doubt. Half tempting to buy it and just sell the frame.

I did. I was looking for a 34 for my 5010 but they were out of stock everywhere that I felt comfortable ordering from. I grabbed the 36 and a 140mm air shaft to downsize the travel for less than what Fox has just the shock listed for. The order is confirmed but since it is Sunday and New Year’s Eve I don’t expect anything to move today. I’m not going to 100% believe it until it actually ships.

I was looking for a 36, got very happy, then quickly disappointed. If anyone's looking for one, Colorado Cyclist has a 36 Performance Elite 29 for $450.
Picked one up for my new build.
I was VERY tempted, but I already got something from Jensen for a crazy deal.

Happy New Years everyone! Beautiful day where I'm at for a bike ride this morning :)

Loved riding bike as a kid but never got a chance to try a legit full suspension bike until about 2 years ago then kicked the can of getting a bike for awhile. Then i bought a bike in April of 2023 and i cant stop riding it... Logged roughly 1500 miles since then and today was 25 miles with 2800 gain which was laughable back then. Kinda crazy... lol

PSA: Tighten your rear axle before you ride. Was able to fix trail side, but I’m on borrowed time.

I love the color of that Sid. They should make that color in the bigger travel forks!

I did the same, sort of. Short gravel, Singletrack and pavement loop to get the legs turning and get my Strava needle off 0 for the year! I got new compressionless brake lines and PNW bar tape on also so I had to try them out.
