Knolly bikes on boxing week sale, looks like as low as $2500 if you need one of the sizes they have.

Going to need some model details and a picture! Be prepared to have your significant other hate you because you never stop talking about bikes....

Must of been a timing thing. When I posted they had Medium and Large in stock, for ~46% off.

Here’s a screenshot of the email I received for reference.

Wanted a shorter travel fun machine. Swapping most parts, just got a new Fox 36 fork for it to replace the 34.
Never owned a SC before, thought I’d give it a shot at that price.

    Hells yea!

A 5010, or similar, 27.5 bike has been on my want list for a while.

Correct, but no reason it couldn’t be run full 27.5

A scout would be a good compliment to my Spur, and is certainly on my shortlist. All said, only reason I don’t have one yet is simply because it’s a want and not a need.

The previous version was full 27.5. Ask me how I know...

I enjoy 27.5 but have never ridden bigger wheels (other than after maintenance on wife's Juliana Wilder TR). I'm big wheel curious but like others, it's a want not a need so I will continue to be curious.

    Anyone order from Colorado Cyclist?
They fooked up my order pretty bad.
Ordered a 36 performance elite, got shipped a 36 performance. Clearly a take-off too, as the crown had a race installed, and no OE box.
Also ordered a set of tires, Maxxis DD DHRII. Got sent Exo casings, also clearly take offs since they have the white lettering.
Both listings have "new in box" shown.

Sent an email, let's see what their answer is. Not worried, ordered through PayPal. Kept listing and receipts.

Colorado Cyclist and Planet Cyclery are the same company or at least owned by the same company. Planet is an OEM reseller and will buy overstock from OEMs (hence the white logo Maxxis tires).

I’ve ordered from them before and gotten stuff like tire casings mixed up before but it hasn’t been a big deal for me since I can pick up/return locally. I haven’t seen a “used” product but I’m not surprised that they sold something that was installed but never ridden.

If they're in Colorado Springs, I ordered a crankset or some drive train related part years ago. I did a local pick up. The only problem I had was figuring out which door to go to since it was Covid times.

I've ordered from them before, I ordered some drivetrain bits a couple years ago, no issues really. Hopefully they were just busy and slipped up.

This makes sense. Both were clearly open takeoffs. I’m fine with that as long as the descriptions are clear and correct. They weren’t in this case.
They argued with me a bit about it but ultimately allowed the return. Now I’m trying to get them to pay for return shipping since it was their slip up not me changing my mind.

The fork should be a slam dunk, it's not even the correct model! That's sort of crazy that they're even attempting to argue with you.
