I forgot who was asking about bike washing away from home, this is what I have. I made it based off of one here on TW. The pressure isn’t super high but it’s good enough to rinse the bike off as long as it’s not super dry. It uses a 12v plug. clear tube goes into water source and white hose is where the water comes out but they use the same quick disconnect so swappable IMG_6733.jpg IMG_6732.jpg

That’s pretty neat, basically an RV pump in a box, right?

That’s exactly what it is haha. I want to say I just found the one with the highest flow rate on Amazon. The box could be lower profile without quick connects too.

Oh interesting. Yeah I've never run them. The carbon kits on Amazon usually have better weird sizing options which is why I was interested. I'm sure I can find what I need in aluminum though. Thanks for the input.

So this arrived this weekend. Great Fork. Great price.

If anyone is interested in buying it, they do not include the spacers/tokens or the tuning guidebook.

I have a bunch of spacers, but if you need to buy them they’re like 20 bucks for a five pack.

Also the tuning book is available online from Fox.

Also, if you’re super anal about your build, the blue stickers come off pretty easily and you can buy a color matched set from Fox.

Carbon is fine but they come in different finishes and thicknesses. If you are particular about being matchy-matchy- I would buy a complete set of the same spacers so everything matches.

I've removed the stickers from just about any stock fork I buy and end up buying from Slikgraphics to match the rest of my build. Soo many options from those guys.

do it! I did a couple frame up builds and it really ties the build together, making everything good together.

I’m a fan of the die cut graphics. Fanatik can also do some custom stuff if you contact them.

We need to get Toyota colors added to the Slik Graphics website so we can get Quicksand (etc) decals.

x2 I had Fanatik do custom ones for me in the past and they look oe.

I want to say the Sliks I had a long time ago were printed on a white vinyl? so you could see a white seam.

To be fair the Fox OEM looks that way too so I probably never even would have known if you hadn’t told me.

True, this was also like 6-7 years ago so Slik has probably gotten better.

They must have gotten better because I’ve never noticed the white seam. You can choose your background color also. I did one set of black and black and they look awesome! That one would be horrid with a white seam.

All this talk about spacers and steerers got me motivated to do some cutting (plus, the trails are closed and I'm bored).

Slik has some really slick customization options too. I used them to fancy up a Lyrik select+. The only thing I didn’t like was their fork decals come as a single piece of vinyl. Meaning the decal background didn’t 100% match the fork color/texture. Depending on your preference or application (Fox / RS / DVO / etc.) that may not matter.

It’s tough to see, but below are the custom Slik graphics I put on the Lyrik. And the Fanatik die cut (color by request) on a Pike.

It’s a work of art for sure. Honestly the clean lines of the Spur are just as pleasing to my eye. The way the top tube flows right into the rear end is so visually satisfying.
