How did all the Southeast guys fare? Not too bad in not-coastal Tampa.

Yeah, its heartbreaking to see all the devastation and missing people stories.

On a more positive note I once again have a drop bar bike on the way, Diverge alloy GRX build. Just a bike for days I cant make it out to the trails. I'll give it the old college try for the n'th time. :anonymous:

Park City was really showing off this weekend. The fall colors were epic and trail conditions were pretty great.

Looking down on Shadow Lake from the 9K trail:

    Shadow.jpg

    Another shot on 9K:
    9K.jpg

I heard that the new Bonanza loop had opened, so we detoured off 9k and rode a 5-mile loop through this:
    Bonanza.jpg

The loop is XC riding, with some fun rock features in the middle. Riding through this giant aspen grove made it 100% worth it.

On another note, my new Transition Smuggler is a little beast. I've been on 7 rides with it...about 110 miles total. It took some finesse and patience to really dial in the shock, but I finally found the sweet spots. Climbing (seated) position is so comfortable - that steep seat tube is nice. It's been awhile since I've been on a non-DW Link bike and I have to say this FSR rear end is a hoot. The rear end seems glued to the ground until you don't want it to be and then it's effortless to get it in the air. So fun! My best bike purchase in years. My only gripe is that it is pretty loud on the descents - cable rattles and chain slapping - but still nothing to genuinely worry about. I highly recommend if you're in the market.

Hopefully you all got out in the woods this weekend!

Yep, the leaves are crazy good this year.
Last pic is us, defeated, by a stubborn moose that didn’t budge for 15m. He was HUGE.

Cool morning halo through canyon and coastal fog.

Thankful my buddy lent me his Trance to ride while my lame Fox fork damper warranty issue is keeping my Stumpy out of service.

Yes, but about the same as Bikeflights. It was much easier though. I just printed the labels and brought the box to the UPS store. They also offer free pickup.
$200 for a bike from UT to NY. FWIW, the UPS store said it would have been about $500 if I shipped it through them.

I've been using parcel monkey to get cheap rates for big stuff, or international. Even beats my business account rates most of the time.

Is pirateship still up and running? That was typically my go to, but I haven’t shipped anything recently.

Hey guys. Still loving my SJ Evo but recently also joined the ebike gang. So I'm excited to get familiar with it. Rode around my house and last weekend had it at our cabin. Unfortunately didn't get much ride time before the rain. Regardless, a cool option, as it's a much different experience than on a standard bike, in my opinion.

Nothing like a 4.5k climb before riding a super difficult trail.

Garmin app said 5k vert. Not sure why trailforks shorted me.

Thought about adding on another little climb to get the full mile of vert, but it was time for a beer.

Taking a SCOR 6080 out for a test spin. It's basically a e-DH bike. Fun bike but I think I'll stay non-motorized for now.
