oh shit, never even thought about there, always been super intrigued because how much logging land there is and all the roads that means. has basically one of the largest plot of "undeveloped" forests in country from what i have looked into. didnt realize you could rip up there as its pretty much all privately owned

The North Maine Woods is all privately owned woods too, there's a river that cuts through it (Alagash) and that is state run (Alagash River Waterway), but otherwise all that North Maine Woods land is privately owned by logging companies with some random camps on lakes scattered about (mostly hunting). They work pretty well hand in hand with the state to allow people to come in, there are campsites everywhere, etc etc. But the roads are all logging company maintained and they have right of way. You pay entry fees at the gate to go in up here.

Edit to add downers: No bicycles at all, and no motorcycles or dirt bikes at all. Snowmobiles on snowmobile trails in the winter (or brave/drunk souls in the summer), but nothing fun.

Definitely gonna try especially with that price tag haha. The a3 is a pretty solid fit for me but always curious about newer designs

You could easily get all that stuff neatly hidden inside the van!

Interesting that the Sprinter van is rated to tow less. Pretty sure the Transit has a slightly higher tow rating but it definitely handles the weight better due to the chassis and wheelbase.

Good to hear! I did up the pressure about 3 psi on my second ride on them. That made the rolling resistance better but still kept that damp and grippy feel!

    Good eye!!!
