I would give the SB 140 a good look- truthfully just depends on your style and trails. I was on a V2 Ripmo, and it was incredibly confidence inspiring on the downs and a good Pedaler for the travel, but was very long, tougher on switchback, switchblade slightly less confidence inspiring descending, but I thought a better climber and a better all-around bike. Traded that for a pivot 429 and it’s been my favorite Thus far, the thing is a rocket ship, pretty capable with a fox 36 in the Enduro mode so I would give the pivot trail Cat LT a strong look the 429 just makes blue trails, fun and Poppy, but I don’t have issues on the more techy trails either just not as fast as the others. I have not been on a 140 but I heard that yeti is a fantastic all-around bike. Look up the YouTuber mountain bike Yum Yum he’s from Utah and does reviews of all of those- of all the people on YouTube. He’s been one of my favorites because he actually seems unbiased.

I’ve been on a Ripley as well, V2 not the current model, but it beat me up, it was too light, but probably the fastest bike. I’ve been on on flatter trails.

Santa Cruz is also worth a luck with the high tower. I’ve loved riding my old Hightower LT, just for kicks and giggles, and I’ve heard the new one is a great all-around bike although I hear it’s suspension platform kind of dulls things out and makes it less lively..

revel is a great pedaling platform too. I’ve tried the Rascal and rail, and you can find them for stupid cheap because Revel tends to just fire sale prices- the rail was a fantastic pedal and all around bike but was more like a magic carpet and less lively , the Rascal is one of the best all-around single bike quivers I think I have had especially over forked at 150.

I would just look at the older models with the cooler paint scheme because I’m not a fan of the new ones lol.

Also I’m less fond of the infra storage because of the weight penalty, but this is probably too much of a rant at this point.

lots of guys in here love transition too

    - for what it’s worth voice to text tends to have sucky punctuation, but I’m not going back to fix any of those random commas or periods
