Had I not spent all my money on a bike stable...I mean house...and related home improvement items in the last month, I totally would. I have had my eye on a stache for a long time!

Plus I have to save up some sweet cheddar for a trip to Baja and to England next summer, so my cash flow for bikes is a little bleak right now.

Damn that’s a good deal! Do it...my stache 7 is so fun, I bet the 9.6 is better since it’s lighter

I'm not trying to push you, but I sold my 2016 Stache 7 for $1300 shipped. It was listed for a month or so out of peak season, but thats where I felt the market price was for the time. $1300 for the carbon is a great price, and I'm guessing you could get a slightly better price with a little haggling.

It's a divorce sale so I could prob offer 1200 cash tonight and it'd be mine.

Kinda had the inkling to sell my fattie or at least give it a sus fork. But that would be like $700 to convert it. Add a dropper and you're looking at around 1K. Or get a turn key better bike for 1300ish.

Damn, I may have just talked myself into buying a bike. Plus if I sold my fattie, it would basically be half price... :censored::censored::censored:

Definitely ditch the fat bike. Idk how much snow riding you do but I feel like that’s the Main reason to have a fat bike over a plus. The stache has 3” tires and those are fat’

Oh, I love my fat bike year round. I just don't ride it as much because being fully rigid makes your teeth hurt in the summer months.

I love my Wilson. Just needs a new shifter cable. I got to experience the joy of being a 36-9 tooth single speed the last time I rode it. Would not recommend.

@Gunshot-6A - As the newly crowned King of SLC, I shall issue a decree that states you must swap the fattie for a Stache.

Don't worry, though, I'm the benevolent type... in most things.

GTFO with that "King of SLC" non-sense. Damn tourist kooks!

I messaged the dude to see if I can take a look at it tonight. Here goes nothing.

@paleh0rse what trails have you ridden so far? If you don't list Bobsled, then you are most assuredly NOT King of SLC.

Also, Crest is almost entirely rideable too. Just a few hike-a-bike snow sections on it I think. Get after it! You can either take the millcreek route depending on the day or do the better IMHO route down through Insurgent and Redcoat and pop out at Canyons resort. Then pedal back to the PCMR lot and hit up Java Cow for baller ice cream!
