Definitely a smooth drop. That whole trail is super nice, all the jumps are done well too. Creek is better than ever now I think. This was my first time back in almost 2 seasons.

Didn't get too many shots from Sunday, but I had to get one of the trailhead signs

Huh... well I certainly hope so!

I recently transitioned from a big bike into a 140mm 29er (Kona Santori). Best thing I've ever done.

Anyone here ridden trail in Slatyfork WV? A buddy and I are headed up to the shoe for World Cup DH without big bikes and want to check out some of the local singletrack. I've heard stories of Snowshoe's old "XC" trails, but from what I understand they no longer exist.

Snowshoe hosted the US National MTB Championships for the last few years and their XC trails were challenging as hell. I can't say if the Nat course specifically will be open but there are numerous trails on the mountain.

Thank you so much for responding. I thought everyone was going to ignore me and keep talking about flats vs clips. Lol looks like I’ll have to get a bike mount too ‍♂️

I think their XC trails for Nationals were just a blend of the tame DH trails. I know that's the way they run the enduro races out there. The Trailforks link to Snowshoe is just highlighting their lift accessible trails. I was mainly wondering if they still have non-lift accessible, dedicated XC trails. Looks like the answer is no and the closest thing to that would be the Slatyfork trails.

Thanks. Unfortunately that confirms my suspicion. I guess we will just have to wait and see how much of the park is open during the WC.

So my current bike is my first bike with tubeless so my question is, should I be loosing 5-9 psi after sitting for a week. I never loose more than that. But when my bike sits I noticed the loss of it. I tried to tightening the valve core but don’t want to over tighten them. And I put new sealant in but they still loose pressure. Any suggestions?

So today I rode with a good friend. And it is the first time I have rode with someone since switching to clips. I think I crashed a total of 4 times in 6 miles. I noticed when I ride alone I can focus on them more but when with someone I focus less. Definitely got some wounds to tend to know

You could easily lose that over night if the temperature/barometer changes drastically. Its normal. You are correct that you dont want to over tighten the valve, finger tight is good. You have to pump your tires before every single ride.
