Thought i’d Post this here before it goes on CL.

I have a brand new Fox Transfer dropper post
    With Kashima Coating
    125mm travel
    Internal routing
    For a 30.9 seat

Selling it because my bike is for external routing and I’m an idiot and didn’t check before buying. You will need the Fox remote lever as that is separate. I paid $360 plus shipping.

Asking $325 shipped. Shoot me a PM if you’re interested. Located in NorCal in Napa.

Any of you guys have experience running 29x2.8 vs 29x3.0? I might need new tires soon and it seems like there are way more options in 2.8

I'm about to build up a new Krampus for bikepacking with 29x3 and you're right -- there aren't many 29x3 options out there.

    Decent list here:
    https://bikepacking.com/gear/29-tires-list/

I'm probably starting with Chupa's for the weight savings, but not sure yet. (I'm still waiting on the new Krampus frame announcements later this month before starting the project).

I think the chupacabras are now the XR3s but I’m not sure. I like the chupacabras for sure. Might not have the best sidewall though. I’ve got a spot that is sketching me out a little.

I'm pretty sure I saw the new XR4 TI in 29x3..
I put the 2.4s on in July, tubeless, and loving them. Much more bite than the xr3s IMHO... And sidewall sure hasnt been an issue...

I’m like 90% sure about that, don’t remember where I read it though. Might have been on here haha. I know they don’t have the chupacabras on the website anymore.

I think you are right. I liked the XR4 on my Remedy. Might try that in the front. Although I might go 2.8 just to get some tan sidewalls haha

Hey all! Can anyone recommend a hitch platform rack that’ll fit my mountain bike and also my sons 16” bike?

I’ve come across the Saris Superclamp Ex 2 but reviews don’t say whether or not that size children’s bike will work....

Chupacabras are XR2s. My Chups held up to Utah chunk just fine; then got a gaping flat from running over a sharp stick the other day so IDK. I haven't had an issue with them though. WTB and Surly have some good rugged options too.

That’s right. They have held up mostly okay so far. The surly tires seem to have good reviews too. We will see haha

The part you are looking at would be normally attached at the hitch. The 1up doesn't have a safety bolt that goes through the hitch, so they sell/comes with an "industrial strength velcro strap" in case the itch comes loose. That is the only thing that keeps me from buying one, from what I hear is it is such solid rack. I have heard of people using Krypto U locks instead of the velcro.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a 1up. My SD double didn’t come with any Velcro strap as I believe they used to. It did come with a keyed hitch bolt. So while I’m quite confident in the expansion design holding the rack in the hitch, the added securities and back up the through bolt provides are great.
