    Best $6 I've ever spent.

My $9 Troy Lee jersey gets a ton of compliments too. AND it matches my bike! Certified baller on a budget.

It's the bomb man, cleans anything. Just use it in an open space obviously. I've heard stores of people shitting their brains out after accidentally ingesting it

Did really well at getting overspray off my apartment patio last year, but I do remember being a little dizzy afterwards. Guess I'll turn the fan on.

It was pretty hard to find a 27.5x2.4 or 2.6 in gumwalls. Im super happy with the tires, they have eaten everything ive thrown at them.

I run XT brakes on one bike and XTR on another. Both sets feel/perform almost identical to me, so I personally don't think the minimal weight savings are really worth it. I probably won't purchase XTR again unless I stumble on some ridiculous deal in the pinkbike/mtbr classifieds -- which, btw, is where I buy most of my upgrades. :)

I wouldn’t mind seeing the difference but honestly my go to trail has basic ass deore brakes on it at the moment!

Ditto. XTR and XT performance differences are negligible in my experience. I cannot justify the extra $

I haven't had time on the new XTs, but I gotta say, the new XTR m9120 4 piston brake, paired with MT900 rotors is insane. Much more powerful than Saint m820s. I'd only consider purchasing them because I moonlight at a bike shop. Retail cost on them is stupid.

It'll be interesting to see if they update the Saint line, and if it brings more power than the XTRs.

Funny you should mention this; I spent the weekend working through solutions (no pun intended) to soften and remove dried latex from my tubeless valve stems and cores.

After trying a number of DIY and web-based methods; I went back to old school thinking about chemicals used to thin latex paints and clean brushes, so I bought a jug of lacquer thinner.

I don't recall exactly where I found them initially, but I've been using these 2 liter soda bottle preforms for years to clean small parts in solvents. They are a perfect size to fit multiple valve stems and cores with just enough lacquer thinner to cover and agitate. The more you shake, the murkier the solvent becomes and, if using Orange Seal; you'll likely start seeing the flakes of "glitter" floating around. Only takes about 30 seconds to a minute of agitation in the premold to completely soften and dislodge the latex buildup and what doesn't dislodge from the core can be forced out with compressed air.

To remove latex from tires and beads; the process would be a bit more involved... maybe a paintbrush and/or foam roller to apply and soften? Obviously wearing PPE... gloves, filter mask, safety glasses.

Considering I work for a plant that makes lab equipment, I may need to wander out to the scrap bin and find a few graduated cylinders or sealable test tubes. Should work well. Thanks for the tip!

But yea, I am ordering some more parts for my bike today instead of thinking of buying another bike... going to upgrade the one I have and ride the shit out of it for a while.

The stache is such a great bike! I haven’t ridden my Remedy since I got the stache.
I might check out the XC stuff out there. I started following Appalachian dirt on Instagram and they have been building some sick looking trails out in western Maryland that I want to check out.

I’ve got a full face and knee pads, that’s hsually what I rock at bike parks. I feel like a bike with good geometry will give me some confidence. An enduro bike sounds nice but I’ve never felt the need for one even in Harrisonburg so maybe a cheap DH bike will do the trick. We will see, it’s all dreams right now haha
    Setting trends homie

Nailed it, dude! This plan works perfectly! Also, holler at me if you're in town (mid cities) and want to ride with an old, broken slow roller! I frequent boulder park, OCNP and, most of all, Big Cedar.

I just realized that every pic of my bike is of the drivetrain side except this one haha. The little gold circles are just caliper covers that can be popped off. There are like 20 colors you can replace them with. I went with gold.... because gold. I have 203mm rotors front and rear of my trail bike. The magura rotors are thicker than sram and shimano to resist bending and brake fade. Do they actually do that? Idk haha

yall are going to hate me for this... but outside of my wifes trek roscoe 8... I have never ridden a hardtail. lol

my wife is 5'5" and her small frame hardtail is awesome. I put a 140mm fox 34 on it (it came on my YT Jeffsy) and sometimes Ill set the fork to my weight and take it on the trail. Its like riding a BMX bike or dirtjumper on the trail. Need to take it to the bmx park

Get a Stache. It'll change your life. Most of the SLC area trails are more XCish "trail" category rides, so a hardtail is perfect. Moab / St George is def the place to bring the FS bikes though.
