I bought a used wheelset off pinkbike that came today. Stans hoops to Hydra hubs. Excited to try them out, unfortunately broke my collarbone last Saturday so I’m out of commission for a while

Does your tailgate make contact with the rack when it's lowered (not in the swingaway position)?

Congrats! But that also sucks man... At least it's "off season" and you can take the time to heal properly. I have a really hard time when I can't get some form of exercise in, so keeping myself mentally busy is key.
Hope you heal quickly and get on those hot new wheels soon!

Just checked out Strava group and found we had an amazing 67 members! Then I went through and realized a dozen were "club whores." Lots of people from Brazil and some from Japan, all of them were members of literally over 100 clubs. I don't get it... Removed them all, back to our little club of 55 :)
Our member stats should be back on point. I'll keep checking and removing those whores as they come up.

Hope you didn’t remove me. Just joined the strava cub a few days ago. Not a whore in that sense.

    It's DLX son!
I used to have the same rack - it would hit my 2nd gen tailgate using the stock hitch receiver in every position when not "swung away". Because of this I found myself really only using it on bike trips and usually removing it when I got home since swinging it out was a bit fiddly if you had to do it on the regular.

I posted vlog 1 of our trip from Canada to Baja and back several pages ago. Just got vlog 2 up! It has a lot more biking than the first part, especially at the end in virgin, utah!

Which one of you is the guy with the maps that look like Russia with ~20 mile rides and 10-20 feet elevation that gets 100 likes?

Thanks! Yeah bummed I’ll be missing some snowboarding too. Changed the oil in the hub to grease this morning, quieted it down a ton!

Has anyone been able to fit their bike without the front wheel in a DCSB with camper? I’m thinking of building a fork mount inside the shell for security.

I have the n+1 issue with snowboards...
    Somewhere around 15-16 snowboards now.

    For bikes I’m at:
2018 Trek Fuel EX +27.5 (trail)
    2018 Specialized Diverge Comp (gravel)
2019 All City Space Horse (commuter)

I definitely need a road bike because the gravel “just won’t do”

Don’t think so. Mostly removed people from Brazil, some from Japan. It’s weird how they just join a ton of clubs, even though they have no connection to them.

That’s the kind of crap I mean. Peace.

I used to have the same issue. Down to 6. Mostly sentimental keepsakes.

Yes. Myself and many others. Install a fork mount on a 2x of you liking, angle the rear end to fit as needed. Done.

Most of mine are K2/Capita Travis Parker Pro models...
Looks great, and also barely fits. I’d like to fit my MTB’s and road bikes on trips.

I’m sure with some thought and maybe a slide out of some kind you could get 3 bikes in, possibly more. I’ve moved to a 1up hitch rack.
