    Nice bags!

I'd add Alpine Threadworks and Rogue Panda to the list of those who make really nice bags, including full custom.

They made me a frame bag in February/March. Took about 5 weeks even though it was just plain black. Any custom prints/designs are completely dependent on whether or not they already have enough of a print in stock. (I had one custom that took three months last year).

Well worth the wait times, though. Their work is excellent IMO.

I like the look of some of those jerseys. How is the size/fit compared to your normal size?

Can you close/latch the tonneau with your gatekeeper installed?

FedEx was miserable to deal with when I had my 1up deliver debacle. 1up CS even commented how poor FedEx was to deal with.

Hope you can get your rack soon.

I had it changed to be shipped and held at their fedex store closest to me so at least I know where it will be and when.

TLD. Love their stuff, and it's durable as hell. I have shorts that I simply don't wear anymore 'cause they're like 6 years old now, nothing wrong with them. Plenty of crashes too... Great fit, excellent features, look awesome.
TLD.com has a good sale right now.

Yeah, that's hitting us right now. The trails JUST dried out two days ago. :annoyed:

Yeah, I hear that. Buuuuttt, you only get better by riding with people who push you. Funny side story; two separate groups of friends in different states have come up the phrase, "Don't follow Phil." Lol.

Not exactly tacoma related... Just started biking again a year or so go, bought a new bike after about 12 years of not riding. Was shocked at the prices of the new bikes and the advances in technology (27.5, 27.5+, 29, most of the bikes were rear suspension...etc). Didn't know wtf the guy in the shop was talking about when it came to tubeless tires, asked me if i wanted them set up on my new bike. He didn't explain it well at the time or give me good reasoning to, so I declined. I wish I had told him to set them up.

I am trying to setup my wheels and tires tubeless, got a conversion kit (included two bottles of sealant, a syringe a couple valve stems and the tape). My tires are Maxis TR tires and they're on on rims that I was happy to find already were all taped inside ready to go. So, I pulled the tubes out and don't have a compressor or co2 cart to seat the beads. I was hoping there would be enough of a seal I could start pumping them up to seat them with my track pump (I had read or heard that some you are able to seat without compressed air). Any one have any ideas on how I can seat my tires without compressed air? Not interested in starter fluid and a lighter trick on these, ha.

Also, while in the middle of the process my friend asked if I wanted to meet up and ride tomorrow afternoon so obviously I'm down for that. If I head to his house and seat the beads with his compressor, is it a bad idea to immediately put the sealant in and go for a ride? I see on all the tutorials that they shake the tire around after adding the sealant and let them sit for a while before putting them on the bike. Maybe not put the sealant in until after the ride?

Definitely shake and bounce them before you re-mount but you should be good to go. Keep the pressure a little higher than you normally would until you get comfortable with them and they don't lose any air overnight, etc. I would bring those extra tubes just in case as added insurance. I highly recommend a small compressor if you don't have access to one often or like to work on things for yourself.

Thanks. I already threw one tube in my camelback just in case, I'll bring the other also. I have a compressor in NH, but nowhere to keep it here in Boston. Sucks, hate living in the city.

I always go for a ride directly after mounting new tires tubeless to help distribute the sealant. You should coat the sides just for the sake of it. Definitely run enough air because you will most likely lose air for the first few rides

They seem to match up to regular t-shirts I buy at the store. XL pretty safely equals XL for me.

True. Part of being a good guide/riding buddy is knowing where to take someone.

yes, you can ride them immediately. If you have a repair stand available, seat the beads, install on the bike, remove valves, insert sealant, refill with air than keep on spinning while your on the stand till your arm gets tired! They will loose the most air the first day, than you should be good!

I set up a pair with Maxxis tires the other day. I didn’t do anything special, I just used a floor pump and had no issues. I left a gap when I put the tire on the wheel and poured the sealant in there, popped the rest of tire on and then used the floor pump till it sealed.
