My new ride. It's been years since I rode an all coil bike... I've never been truely happy on air, can't wait to throw that F'n pump into the weeds. Hop on and ride.

Dropper on the way! Can’t wait for it.

Think I’m just gonna beat this bike to death for the next year or two. My biggest gripe about my Camber though and why I don’t know if I should upgrade my bike altogether is I don’t think I can switch out this rear XFusion shock without losing some travel. And this shock sucks, the dials don’t change the ride, and the “lockout” feature doesn’t do much when switched. Guess that’s what I get for a budget entry level spec camber though. My research has led me to find a custom bike yoke I can buy for $130 that will allow a Fox or Rockshox shock, but I will lose almost 10mm of travel i believe which I don’t want to do.

The Standard XFusion is 205x53mm and this Fox FloatxCTD or Rockshox shock would be 190mmx51mm.

    Thoughts?

You will not notice 10mm less suspension travel. Especially with an upgraded shock

Adjust derailleur and/or tension on the cable.

That was my second thought. Dean, I would play with the cable tension and limit screws. plenty of Youtube videos on both.

Specialized is pretty prolific in using custom length shocks as I recall, so it doesn't really surprise me.

Yeah, their "proprietary" suspension systems lol. The camber comp in that same year came with a Fox Float for the rear suspension same 205x53mm as my X-Fusion. I should be able to just swap out for that shock right if i can find one right?

I feel like I was unclear. The chain is not jumping from one sprocket to the next without me shifting. It's more of a popping or snapping sound where I can tell that the chain is jumping a tooth on the sprocket it is on.

Will adjusting the derailleur fix that?

If the derailleur adjustment is off enough that it is trying to shift and is ramping up then a gear, then maybe. Look at the derailleur cog alingment to the cassette cogs in a couple gears.
Also feel the chain. It is not uncommon for a chain to have been absent of any real lubrication outside of packaging grease, so a link or number of links might be sticky / rusted already, and if the chain links do not move easily it will also pop or snap on the cassette since that is where they are forced to rotate.

Man Pinkbike just keeps publishing some good reviews. I'd take a look at this one. Seems like a good performance, parts, and cost ratio that I could deal with for $2600.

I've heard some not so good things about their USA warranties (along with the other D2C brands) but for the value...

I have heard some minor rumblings over pinkbike forums about all of the direct to consumer brands but I do not have first hand knowledge of anyone thats had issues. I trust positive and negative things I hear on the internet very little anyways. I'm always thinking "this person has confirmation bias or they are the type of person that expects to use a product for 2 years and return it to Walmart for a full refund."

You mentioned that it happens on all sprockets.
if only on 1 or 2 - worn off sprocket. They will have pointy like teeth
Check the chain for stiff links, especially connecting pin/link. Could be not set all the way.

I have yet to see a discount code, despite them hinting they exist when they try to get you to sign up for their newsletter.
