I had the guide RSC and once the levers got warrantied for the heat issue, they've been perfect. Now I'm on the codes with my sentinel and continue to be impressed. The Guride Rs on my Stache though...hot garbage, esp on a bigger tire like a 29+. Not bad, just don't feel like I'd like them to.

I need new brakes and trust your opinion. How's the bleed process?

yeah, everything I've seen about guides has been...they're garbage. more warranty stuffs and work going in on those things than not. Save yourself the trouble and get the Codes if you can.

I seen that. Tons of gyms are dropping their affiliation.

Yeah, I had a set of RSC’s with old plastic internals in the levers that I swapped to new metal guts for the heat/sticky lever issue. New bike came with RSC’s that have been good. Thinking of going up to Codes for MOAR power. Or just buy Code calipers if I can find them for decent price as I don’t think the levers are different between Guide RSC and Code RSC.

They're remarkably similar if they are different. Other than the branding logos, I'm not sure they're different at all.

Yeah that sucks. I’m sure deliveries to certain cities are all sorts of delayed right now.

So stupid in my opinion. He made an insensitive comment in a conspiracy theorist style. I didn’t see it as racist at all. People are so sheepish right now and if you don’t agree with the agenda you’re racist.

anyway, politics aside, I’m curious who will pick up the CrossFit games and what the brand will be renamed as.

I agree with you, but also dont want to get into politics. The answer to your question is Rogue and Reebok.

I think Rogue and Reebok will team up on something focused on functional fitness. That is the rumor at least.

In the future, maybe check out the WTB Ranger TCS Light/Fast for your Stache. I have the 29x3 on my Krampus and no complaints whatsoever.

They're very similar to the Chupas, but less expensive and seem to hook up better in mud/wet conditions.

LOL, what is mud and or wet? This past weekend aside, we're in several inches of moon dust

I have had my eye on those Rangers though as a possible next tire

I just wish y'all crossfitters could do pullups properly. That "Kipping" thing is horsehockey

Same, then again, I'm coming from a senior military college perspective, where your grader for the pullup portion of the PT test would stand like a foot in front of the bar and docked you if you touched him. Those kippers do torch your whole upper body into anaerobic hell though, so I'm not saying they're without a purpose.

Same. Been outa the ‘box’ for more years than I was in. Prefer more hybrid style approach anyway, but still appreciate and utilize the skills/techniques learned.
Its from gymnastics, just fully associated with Crxfit these days.
You don’t have to fully understand something to respect it. Kipping is just a technique to a movement. Not a firm gospel.
