Steamboat area? Excellent. I was just riding in Durango last week, so I figured it was close based on the birch... love that entire state!

Been slowly building up my Schwinn Axum. I have about 2.5 mm between the chainring and the frame. You guys think it’s okay?

Krampus on some brand new single track adjacent to my property. Mid-way point on the longest 8.5 mile loop stops at a local brewery, which is great. Also connects to my office, so if WFH ever ends, it'll make for a sweet commute. Living out in the county, having easy bike access to both work and a brewery is a huge freakin' deal.

Have been building up a Bridge Club 700c over covid stay at home as an all around gravel/around town bike. Replaced the terminal bars with Nitto Bullmoose bars and running Gravel King Sk 43s. Been a great bike for cruising around town and long gravel rides on some of the local rail trails. Awesome shuttle bike for solo kayaking during the pandemic.

So, please explain to me why.... when you can just ride a XC/down country bike faster and have more fun?
Not trying to be an ass, honestly don’t get it.

Dude. Steamboat and Durango are literally at opposite sides of a VERY varied state. Colorado and Utah have some of the world’s most varied topography/geography.
Both are some of the states prime examples of fun though, and I’d move to either in a heartbeat.

My previous message contained a little hint. Here’s what just showed up. New Evil Wreckoning.
I’m so freakin stoked. Between the new truck and bike, life is damn good right now.

How do you like the Krampus on single track? I’ve got a Karate Monkey with front suspension and I’ve been thinking about throwing the rigid fork on there just to try it out

Yep. They initially sent a driver side one and I had ordered a passenger side. I told them and they overnighted the correct one so that I could get it installed before our trip. Awesome customer service!

The awning worked out great on the trip. We used it almost every day. It's quite easy to set up and provides a ton of coverage. It also took a few unexpected wind gusts without issue, though I wouldn't recommend leaving it deployed if it's windy.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m digging the price point of their awnings, but still hoping to learn more on their quality/materials versus others.

I love 29+ rigid on singletrack. I run the front DW around 9-10 psi and it does a fairly good good job absorbing impact. Definitely feel it on more technical riding, but the roll over factor and awesome traction more than make up for it to me.

It’s more of a ride all day thing. It’s fun to ride the gravel/Jeep roads and stitch together singletrack sections. Last weekend we did 52 miles with 6500 elevation gain. The drop bars and weight are way more comfortable. If I’m driving to a trailhead to mtb, I take my Mtb. If we are all day mixed surface exploring, I take the Cutthroat! ;)
