I have my 29+ Krampus, but it was my friends first tine ever in snow. It is hard to ride in that kind of snow when you are the first. We saw a guy with a Surly Ice Cream Truck in the lot as we were packing up...he rode about 20 feet onto the same trail we were on and turned back. I need to get snow shoes so we can hike in and tamp down thesnow the next time.

I just use $5 safety glasses from Home Depot....that way, when I break them, lose them, or scratch them, it is not a big loss.

snow is perfect for my bike!! I prefer riding in the snow/cold....i really want to experience 60" of snow one day....

I recently traded frames with a guy in Wenatchee. The SB130 is an awesome bike and probably what I’d want if I were still living in CO. The SB150 is a little better suited for most of the riding in the PNW though.

My Dad just got remarried and had his wedding at the Pompano Beach Marriot not to far from there. There was an air show going on at the time over the beach which was pretty sick. His side of the family all lives in Lauderdale though and its a nice area. You'll enjoy it.

I have the same pad. it's my favorite of all the ones I've used. It doesn't seem to damage the fork leg like most others do.

But does anyone else really hate how tailgate pads work, especially on the new Gen 3/Wide-top tailgates? The bike never sits nice. I've given to only use the tailgate pad for shuttling and quick transports. Anything longer than ten minutes, I use my home-made bed rack.

I'm also working on a thing to hold the wheels next to the bike using the bed-rails. I'll post photos when I build the prototype.

Guy had this on an f150 with that fat top tailgate. Said that’s why he was getting rid of it. Fits my skinny old tundra tailgate great though. Just a little wider than it should be but it works fine.

I haven't had problems with my tailgate pad on my 3rd gen tacoma. It's held my bikes well for long travels. :/
