Would you guys recommend getting the 1up rack locks? Or are there cheaper alternatives? I think I'm gonna need two locks, which will cost about 40 bucks. One lock for the hitch and one for the add on.

Im probably gonna buy the single bike rack and an add on.

Finally found a way to get rci bike rack to clear on a Caliraised rack. I used a dock backplate to clear everything. I ended painting them black after test fit

Pretty sure most all the racks come with a lock for the hitch. The only one that doesn’t state that it does is the regular 1.25” single. Call and ask if that’s the model you’re looking at.

That doesn’t answer your question but I think you only need to be looking into adding security for the add-on. I’d probably just buy the one from 1up that’s designed for the application.

You're not wrong. The 1up quik rack does not come standard with a lock, thats the one I'm looking to buy. **sad trombone**

So one of my screws stripped on my bottle cage (I got it out).

so since I’m in need for new ones, I figured why not look at bottle cage options. I currently have the most basic of basic from like academy sports lol.

does anyone have a bottle cage they like that maybe has a handheld pump mount? I currently carry my hand pump in my hip pack but it’s a pain to do that because it barely fits and takes up all the space...

I also might just get a Velcro strap or something for the pump...

I run the Zee Cage II from specialized on my fat bike - it seems to hold onto bottles better than most others I've tried. You just have to get right exit or left exit depending on which hand you use to remove the bottle.

I’m a fan of the side load bottle cages. I have the plastic lezyne side lid cages that work well. I’ve also got the standard bontrager plastic cages. My gravel bike has whisky carbon side load cages that have a super strong hold but I feel like are gonna tear a hole in the bottle eventually haha.

    for pump holder, the pumps
I’ve bought usually come with a frame attachment, yours didn’t come with one?

It did but it doesn’t work along with the bottle cage. It puts the pump in a weird spot that kinda rubs the frame. Idk if that makes sense. I only have 2 screws on the frame so they have to share lol

That’s standard. You sandwich the pump mount under the bottle holder. I’m sure some integrate better with each other but I’ve never had a problem. I use this bottle holder and my pump mount plays nice.

It might be the pump holder that causes the issue. Gotta do a bit more fiddling with it. Gotta get new screws though so figured I’d get a better cage lol
