exactly what I'm thinking. although those dual sports can get 100+ which doesn't sound bad at all. The extended range probably adds up quick though when buying haha

Yeah, 2500 on a 8-10k base bike is a big leap. The good news is I think theres tax credits to offset the bill, and you an use the HOV lanes!

After they massacred I-95, that's a benefit in itself.

ah yes tax credits would be nice haha.

and HOV is a great point. They made I-66 HOV/ez-pass only during rush hour in the busy direction (towards DC in the morning and vice versa)

I'm so glad I moved away from NOVA.

    Sidebar:

Where on this map do you set the limits of "Northern Virginia"?

haha I went to high school in Stafford so I used to consider that the southern border. I feel like the generally accepted answer is Arlington, Fairfax, and Loudon counties, maybe Prince William. I never realized how big of a topic this was until I got to JMU

I could actually see this being neat for a 1 bike ordeal.
It's just a beefy "down country" bike.

My wife and I are both from Fairfax/Springfield, and she just agreed with me that everything on the Virginia side of the map square you posted is now considered "NOVA."

We never agree on anything, so the answer must be true. It's also a sign of the Apocalypse, soo....

My thing has always been that it’s kind of tied to a reasonable commute from DC. Which now that the 95 HOV lanes will be going down to Fredericksburg opens it up haha

I personally think it's tied to a shared mental illness that exists in all of the towns on that map square.

I escaped three years ago. :headbang:

haha yes that is definitely a part of it. I am still contemplating my escape, which could be moved along quicker by this whole potential 100% remote work...hopefully haha

I lived in Rockville and McLean for a few years. Anywhere from DC to BWI can now be considered NoVA in my opinion.

There was some chatter the other day about the Bobsled trail (located in SLC, UT). I can officially confirm that it is in the best condition of all time...that's from 1995 to now. Holy shit, it was so fun yesterday! Go get some before the rain & snow tonight!!

Hopefully errybody picked up their Blue Ray copy of RAD :D

I'm mindboggled at the quality of the remastering. Every hair, spoke, chain, shoelace, ultra sharp. I still remember the day I went to the theatre to see it in 1986.

And Lori looking amazing in 4K instead of prison orange :p

I kind of wish they wouldn't haven't altered the cover art.
