    Just to name a few...

https://www.amazon.com/Time-Speciale-Pedals-Black-Pair/dp/B07PYYPG99 (I have been using these lately and I'm happy with them. They're a bit more stable than shimano equivalent, though a touch harder to clip in/out of)

I'm with y'all. I ride clipless on my road bike but never on my mountain bike. Also because I like to have fun in the air and don't want to be clipped in for that. Also when I tumble end over end, easier when the bike can go left and I can go right :D

My old Amazon setup was good to go a few hundred feet if I missed the clip (at least to cross a street or something) but the new ones have a curve to them and that's all jacked up now. Just a thing to get used to.

SPD there's a lot of combo setups, shoes and pedals that work with each other with or without the clips, but on my road bike I run SL so that's less conducive to riding without being clipped in.

Used to race those with BMX. Had enough tumbles there that, if I'm just going out for FUN, I'm just going to run platforms on my MTB.

    Those gloves are tempting.

On another note, I went on my first MTB ride since breaking my collarbone in May! My doc said I can ride a bike but NO MOUNTAIN BIKING. He doesn’t need to know. I was definitely a bit cautious having that much time off, but damn it felt good.

Haha that would be just my luck. Hopefully the titanium plate keeps that from happening again, but I still have the left side available :transformer:

Holy Toledo. Might be my longest day on my local trails.

edit: confirmed my longest local day. Possibly my longest without shuttle ever, but I can’t confirm that. I’m feeling it haha
