Just catching up on the thread... REEB is back on dirt as of yesterday and I'm still dialing in the Helm coil fork. It'll take a bit of adjustment to re-acquaint my brain w/ coil fork but so far I dig the plush and rowdy mix. Time will tell...

Raced ORAMM SS a few weeks ago and left a lot out there in the Pisgah wilderness... Kitsuma lower is blown TF out w/ brake bumps all the way to the exit. Looks like someone put in a moguls run on that trail. First time racing it SS so I wasn't gunning for podium, but I now know where to target for next year.

"Impressive" doesn't fully encapsulate how I feel looking at that ride. That distance, time, and elevation would be heroic without using a single speed. Well done

Impressive, dumb, silly, ludicrous... all synonyms. :bananadead:

    I just have masochistic tendencies.

I think that number is way higher than it should be. Looking at the elevation on other rider's maps; it should be closer to 10k, but the Garmin w/ barometric sensor can go all wonkified after a huge storm the night before, then riding through a temperate rain forest at elevation.

Dude even at 10k... you are in another dimension.

    I'm whining about doing a 4k day on a 12 speed haha

I had a weird light squeak for several rides now, I've ripped everything apart. Takes several miles to set in, every ride. Absolutely will not do it on the street testing, it has to be in the dirt.

    Greased headset.
    Ordered new headset.
    Bottom bracket bearings.
    Pedal service.
    New pulley bearings in derailleur.
    Pulled both axles - regreased.

Ended up bearing the damn bearings in my front hub. Totally didnt cross my mind. I have a new hub sitting here but no time to let the local wheel god lace em up yet. Couple drops of Rock n Roll gold and I'm back to squeak free riding.

DT370 is in there now. Haven't touched the front one for 3 years+.

    DT350 is on the bench.

Ruined a rear DT370 about a year ago somehow, upgraded to DT350 with all the engagement and all the noise.
