    Ha! Sent a follow-back.
Rode the planned route today. Took out the lowest part of Rush, it’s pretty boring, and added in Levitate this time.
Up to Jacobs, down the ladder from Lone Rock, down Rush, back to and down Levitate, then down MH DH. 27 miles, 4400 feet. But I cheated!

oh man. good work! Even with the cheater system.

My favorite lap is parking at the bottom of levitate/vertigo, pedaling over to jacobs, and then pedaling back and doing vertigo or levitate depending on mood. if I'm feeling extra pedaly, I add in a ghost falls lap.

Not a lot of people on the eagle crest connector so it's easy to just fly.

I just stumbled on this thread looking for FOB options on my 2021 MT (dont ask.) I've never ridden berd wheels but I own some Nox wheels on my transition spur and santa cruz reserve wheels on my yeti sb5.5 and i totally feel the difference. The nox are a bit heavier and a bit less compliant, giving a more "harsh" ride.

Since you're comparing carbon wheels, anyone have an opinion or comparison on Reynolds Black Label? I'm getting the Black Label 349s on my Switchblade when it arrives.

Had a 14' Trance Advanced SX. Loved the 28lb weight but hated that seat angle for climbing. I know they have changed it up recently to be a better climber and I wouldn't mind throwing a leg over another one.

Oddly enough my gf brought home a set of Hydra/Atomik/Berd spokes the other night for her Chisel build. It didnt take long for her to miss the Epic FS, so she decided on a hardtail - not sure if shes going to like it. Her riding style has changed a lot since getting her Ebike.

I try to get out to Alafia once a week during the winter. In non-dst months im there 2-3 times a week.

Loyce (Carter) is similar to Alafia in terms of riding style, but its a further drive for me. Boyette is mellow but fun single track.

I don't mean to brag, but I managed the top scoring comment on the Pinkbike Q&A by a fair bit and had nothing to do with bikes

You get a 10 second rule for soup. After that it’s probably too cold anyways

So there's going to be some downhill courses within 2.5 hours from me now instead of 5 at Windrock.. nice
I've been told by a lot of people TTC is a very difficult place to ride.

Guys I need your help, we're doing an office Secret Santa, and they need a wish list. What MTB/cycling/truck related things can I put on my wish list for $50 or less?

I have the Black Label enduro 34mm on a Firebird29. This was my first set of carbon wheels ever. I had DT Swiss M1700s on my previous bike (Mach 5.5). My first impressions with the BLs were the stiffness and how responsive they are. I'm not sure how to describe the feel, but I like it. The way the bike handles a corner, whether tight or fast...there seems to be zero flex in the wheel (part of that feeling in the rear wheel could be attributed to Superboost, but ???). I would not call the ride harsh, but you definitely get some input on what the wheels are rolling over. Personally, I like that.

I have the BL 309/289 combo on a Trail 429. They seem to be even more stiff than the enduro 34s. I guess that makes sense being that they are a narrower rim.

I am sold on the feel and ride quality of carbon wheels...at least on these Reynolds wheels. You won't be disappointed. Congrats on that new Switchblade!!
