Pros have a lift over the other trims. Does that count?

I’ll cast a vote for yes. But I’m also a guy running 2nd gen Pro suspension on a 3rd gen OR that I consider lifted :notsure:

At least get a test drive in first! Those Platinums are sweet but have a lot of crap i don`t need or really even want. Lots of gizmos to break. I like my XLT.

Depends on which Schwalbe, a Racing Ralph didn't last too long, lots of knobs just sheared off. Various Rocket Rons have lasted me a long while here in the rocky desert. Those two have different rubber compounds though.

Have you ever had a heated seat massage you as well on your 4 hour road trip. It’s nice.

I’ve ridden and driven one many of times, but I didn’t own it.

Nope, but i added heated leather seats to mine. I like the heat, i don`t really need the massager. On the Ferd forums, it seems most of the common issues are the massagers not working, the electronic tailgate messing up, the blind spot crap not working, the sunroof sticking, i`m good with mine.

I’m running the MM in the super trail soft compound on the front of the Decoy. 50 lb bike and I don’t ride it slow. 600 miles, just starting to show wear. No knobs ripped, no sidewall issues, easy to get on and off. In my experience, it has been a stellar tire.
Previous gen Schwalbe were a shit show, new ones rock.
Hmm, I run em everywhere. Sure there’s some squirm on kitty litter or bike park runs, but I wouldn’t call it death. Definitely better tires for that though, for sure.
I’d put the MM in the trail soft combo about the same as a maxxis in DD grip. Those super soft dh rubbers feel weird to me, kinda like gummy bear tread.

I'm no weight weenie, but 1420g. for that tire, damn... Add in that stiff casing and super sticky rubber and it's going to feel like molasses.
I have to say, I always hoped the Exo+ casing on the maxxis would be the right in-between casing. But every single tire I've had with it, I think 5 now, has punctured before they hit 100 miles. On the other hand, the mid-level casing on Scwalbe (super trail) has been perfect. With the caveat of a sample size of one, unfortunately.
I think I convinced myself to get Scwalbe back into the rotation again...

The EXO+ always felt more flimsy to me than regular EXO at the same pressures and I was never a fan. For Schwalbe Supergravity was the only casing I had good results with, I couldn't even keep the Snakeskins on the rims.

I did like the MM on my DH for bike park duty but they plain don't work for the marbles around here. The Shorty G2 and the MM are very similar.

I'd agree with this. The difference between the Maxx grip and the Maxx Terra has been pretty profound to me. I run the Maxx grip exclusively on the front these days. Rear I do the dual compound because the 3C doesn't last. Not a skidder, we just got a lot of rocks around here.

That's so awesome! My little one is 18 months and I've been wondering if it's too early to get something like that because I think she would absolutely love it! So what model seat is that? What about the helmet? Wasn't sure if they even made them small enough for that age!

I started my daughter around 18 months on the shotgun seat. We had to go very slow at first but she liked it; just be prepared to not go very far and stop frequently for snacks and breaks. She's about 2.5 now and we've ridden quite a few rowdy blues and up to 10 miles.

That is hard to watch because i've had hard crashes like that. I've been riding faster with my trail bike on double diamond tech trails: real sketchy stuff for this caliber of bike. I've been looking for an enduro with fox 38, but this video makes me question my sanity and if I really need a more capable bike. I'm going to be 32 years old with a lot of years left and I don't want to spend them as a vegetable.

If riding park no one is going to say anything if you're wearing a neck brace and chest protector. I believe it's a rule now that you must protect your spine in DH racing.

It's my intention to buy a neck brace, but I have procrastinated because of the price. I think that I need to watch this video again to motivate me (when I return to the USA where its cheaper). I was looking at the Pivot firebird with the fox 38 so I can charge down tech, but i'm thinking that I should slow it down and get a pivot switchblade instead. I do worry that the firebird will be a slug on tech climbs.

You could also check out those Evoc backpacks with back protection. Doesn't do much for your neck though.
