    Its a 2021 stumpjumper. I think a 140-150 lyrik would be perfect.

I don’t think the Lyrik goes under 150. If you need 140 travel, the Pike is perfect (and likely a little lighter). That said, I put a 150 travel Lyrik on my Polygon to replace the Recon it came with and absolutely love it. It’s easily the best improvement I made to the bike.

I think with the 2023 update lyriks go 140-160 then the zeb takes up the 150-190 range. With the zeb i think they got ride of all the big travel lyriks they use to make

    then the pike does 120-140

Wow, the Zeb is a beast for 150 travel! Interesting update by Rockshox. I was going to get a Pike, it fit my riding style but I got a good deal on the Lyrik in the travel and offset I wanted so I jumped. Surprisingly, the Lyrik was about a pound lighter than the Recon it replaced, same travel. 32 mm stanchion to 35 mm and I saved a bunch of weight.

Sometime last year I scratched both stanchions on my fork. Got one of those SendHit repair kits and it worked pretty good. Well I guess idk how to ride bikes because I scratched it again somehow, on both sides, one was much worse, one was barely noticeable. So i busted out the repair kit again and gave it a shot. It's ridable, but not pretty. I can kinda feel oil when I cycle the travel off the bike, or maybe I'm just thinking it.

Maybe I'm just itching to do more rides, or am tired of being down my fun bike, or want something different, so I ordered one of those Zebs from lost co on sale. Interested to see how the 1mm of added offset and extra 10mm of travel will feel.

Was an earlier than normal start for me but it avoided a lot of the crowds.

Cracked my rear triangle over the weekend. I guess we'll see how good Orbea's warranty program is...

Damn, that's a good hit. At least it's just the chainstay, should be easier to get that (and wouldn't be as expensive if you have to pay for it). If they have it, and if they would replace just that part. Good luck, keep us posted.
I'm a big fan of Orbea, so interested to see how they handle this.

Took it to Contender (LBS) this morning. They said that they don't think Orbea will warranty it since it's from a crash, but they may provide a discount crash replacement. They also said there's a good chance they don't have any chainstays on hand, in which case they would evaluate if it could be repaired. If I had to pay full retail to get it fixed, sounded like about $500 is likely.

I may look in to getting a new bike and fix this up to sell...

I know we were talking about the Wrecker, and I still think it's an amazing bike. But definitely look over at Transition too, both the Spire and the Sentinel would make awesome Wasatch Front bikes. I would have a real hard time deciding between those two.
Transition has their geo dialed, I only wish they would add some in-frame storage.

Transition is definitely at the top of my list too. I'm quite torn between Wreckoning, Offering, Spire, and Sentinel. There are actually Evil bikes in stock but nothing from Transition right now. I was also thinking about a Commencal too; this is one heck of a bike for the money!!

Open to any and all other suggestions! I'm looking for something in the 140+ travel range (on the aggressive side if it's shorter travel). Most of my rides are 10-15 miles, but I regularly do 20-30 miles. I'm an aggressive rider, and very much seek out the steepest/rowdiest descents, but I ride with a playful style and tend not to just plough through stuff. Basically...I'm torn between an aggressive trail bike, which would be ideal for most of my rides and I'd be occassionally under-biked OR an efficient enduro bike and I'd be over-biked on a lot of rides.

I'm sure these bikes will be everywhere in a few years, and this opinion will prove to be wrong, but I'm still a fan of picking the right tool for the job. I have my hardtail for XC days and big bike for the rough stuff. If (when) I get an e-MTB, it'll be a dedicated E-MTB.

You have a good list there! Hard to go wrong honestly. I was having a similar dilemma but one class size down. Trying to decide between something like a 120/130 bike and a 140/150 bike. Following and Offering were way up there. The Sentinel too as I was coming off a SBG Scout that was my favorite bike to date. Ended up deciding to size down to match what I ride the most. Haven't regretted it yet, but I'm sure I would have also been happy on the bigger bike. I think all of those bikes are known for being spirited rides for how capable they are. With a Following in the stable I'd probably go Spire just for the most versatility. I've always lusted for that Loam Gold Sentinel though....

Oh man...all the bikes you've listed are amazing bikes and would be amazing to ride. I don't think you can go wrong with any of those bikes at all!
