Had a hell of a rear tire hit this weekend on some pretty chunky technical trails - put a small hole in the rear tire and small pinch cut along the bead. Luckily the rims are fine; a small plug and the sealant let me ride out the rest of the day. With the sale specialized has going on, no reason to keep the tire with a plug when I can replace so cheaply.

Loam dropper, PNW pedals and One Up shark fin/chain guide came today! :yay: I would like to give a special FU to the guys at Specialized for the way that damn dropper cable needs to be routed. Ended having to remove the bottom bracket to get the cable through and it was still a struggle! But, it’s in, connected and almost ready to ride! Just need the wheels to arrive.

Just had mine cancel this evening too. I got in semi early at $235.00, little bit of a bummer...oh well what's that cliche "if its too good to be true it probably is"...?

My order from outbound lighting shipped already, which was surprisingly quick considering their announcement of delays due to order volume from the sale

Also, my mom has been asking for a newer bike for a few years now. We've always rode bikes around the neighborhood and on bike paths as a family growing up, and she is still riding an old steel frame Raleigh hybrid bike that is older than I am. Its heavy as crap, shifters are sloppy, and its just generally worn. My dad and I hopped on Canyon's black friday sale and got her a Roadlite 5. I'm almost as excited to give it to her as she will be to have a new ride!

Any of you with fat bikes run into issues with sealant coming out of the bead at low pressures? Have a fat bike race this coming weekend and been battling the tires holding air at lower pressures - set the bike up tubeless and did a shakedown run recently, had to constantly worry about filling up air and running at higher pressures than I wanted to keep a solid seat on the bead.

Hoping its just an issues of adding some more sealant and letting it set in the bead? Have tubes I could put in, but really want to avoid that if possible.

As you know, I had the same issue. I dismounted the tire, cleaned the bead up, reset the bead and put in some fresh sealant. We’ll see how it goes.

So, I can access PB from my work computer when connected via VPN, but we run our own DNS servers. At home, I have pi-hole set to Google's DNS servers. I flushed my client cache, but I still can't access PB from my home PC. I haven't reset pi-hole to flush its cache, will maybe try that later. The site appears to be up with recent articles. Weird.

Yeaaa so it’s not loading on my phone. By those standards it’s down. Glad to hear you’ve found success on your end.

old school runescape, a 20 year old point and click game, had a period of 12 hours of unexpected downtime last week. honestly the most downtime the game has had since launch. those were european server issues though. pinkbike posted on IG about mike levy messing up the site with ufo conspiracies, so who knows whats going on over there
