a quick google search and i cant find one in stock.

maybe dirt labs? They put a new damper body on my shock when i sent it in for service. they may have small parts.

i also came across this reddit thread
    https://www.reddit.com/r/MTB/comments/12s3ji2/getting_the_external_compression_dial_fox_float_x/
with people saying it doesn't make much difference. but theres a link to a 3d printed alternative:
    https://www.gearworkmtb.com/online-store/Float-X-LSC-knob-3d-printed-p533166831

im not really sure what it does besides low speed compression settings or how the internals work though

Lost Co and World Wide Cyclery looks like they used to stock them. I’m really not sure how much I’d really expect to feel, but if it’s simple as throwing on a knob, I’ll give it a shot!

    not enough.
Ive had similar problems. My dpx2 rebound knob fell off. Luckily I haven't been using the shock so I haven't really pushed to find the part. :/ But it is REALLY difficult to find the part.

I feel so very out of shape. Climbing 1500 feet over 4 miles feels very different when it’s Phoenix technical single track that distracts you with feature after feature, and starts at 1200 elevation vs a fire road climb that starts at 6300 elevation and has nothing to distract you from the fact you’re very tired

also, riding through the burn zone from caldor fire is kinda eerie even two years later

There’s an area near me, Jemez Mountains, that had a massive fire 23 years ago - the underbrush has flourished after the years but it’s still eerie riding through portions that have the burn scars and dead wood. Mother Nature doing her thing.

If you are interested in a no drill solution of mounting a front license plate without using the OEM box style license plate holder, I got a slybracket to mount for the front to satisfy my Fix-It ticket from the CHP. For the rear, I'm using the 1Up License Plate mount. The pics below were from a test fitting on my GA Taco.

Wouldn’t match clothing or bike unless I was riding all black. Therefore not Instagram worthy. So obviously no

edit: anyone ridden the new 2021+ trek slash?

Alright fellas update on my son and I newbie status on GT Aggressors from Dicks.
The gears have ghost shifting and does not like steep climbs. I have done some down hill and jumps here and there and I think I bottomed out the front shock. Hard landing felt like I bounced right over the fork lol. Good fun!!

We took my parents from LA to Las Vegas for a weekend getaway and took the bikes with us.
Found a biking trail named Late Night Trailhead.
That was fun but it was very hot and we ran out of water. Check my sons misery face at the Ducky Tree

Next time we do Vegas , will be better prepared with extra water on bikes and maybe camelbaks.

PSA: Many Fox forks are on sale right now. Just picked up a new 38 factory for just under $1k. Factory Elites are $900. Solid deal.
Currently running a 23 Zeb and want a head to head. The Zeb is still weird for me, I usually get along better with Fox stuff so we’ll see.

Memories! A better bike would be nice but the memories of your adventures on the bikes is what you will remember. Have fun!

Most Fox retailers are honoring the sale, or Ride Fox website directly.

    Here’s a retailers link

Just google the fork you’re looking for and several sites will come up.

I’m really starting to consider a cool for the Stumpy. I looked when I still had the Polygon, the itch is starting again with the Stumpy. Unfortunately, the Fox coil allegedly isn’t compatible…. Debating throwing one on anyways and rolling the dice, I doubt it’s be a problem the way I ride.

I am doing a slight upgrade for son.
Going from GT Aggressor to this Canyon MTB that is on sale for $499 and free shipping .

It’s a nice baby step up from the GT .
Hydraulic breaks, 1x12 Shimano, 100mm fork.

You fellas think it’s worth buying another one for my self too??
I can probably sell the GT on craigslist for $150 perhaps so for a net $350 I get slightly better bike ?

I think the issue is that the shaft isn’t strong enough due to the Clevis style mount. I believe it also applies to the Ripley and maybe the ripmo with certain shocks. The 2023 model year rockshox coil is supposed to work with stumpys since it has a larger diameter shaft. You could try but if the shock breaks I would assume the first thing they ask is which bike the shock was on and void the warranty.

That’s exactly the issue. I’ve been debating what to do with the rear end for a bit, I ended up finally deciding on the DVO Topaz gen 3.

BTW, DVO is running a 30% off sale, site wide.
