So those Chromag HTs are awesome, but... why buy a hardtail when you could have a good FS bike for that kinda money?

I figured this thing may last me a few more years than a new FS bike. It is a tough call when you can only have one bike.

At first I thought you were implying your Yeti was your commuter...I was curious what your trail bike was!

picked up a new bike to help me get back into some kinda riding shape and work the bad knee out. Im kinda a weird fit a 6'1" with short inseam, I hate long top tubs and the strain it seems to place on wrists and lower back. But all these new bikes with really short seat tubes mean long ass seatposts. Its literally at the minimum mark and spot on comfort wise. looks weird, seems to work.

'18 Giant Any Road 2. So far its a nice ride given its lower spec.

Oddly enough here in Missoula we have a shit ton of bike theft... Its a fairly peaceful place but high bike theft. I had my baby stolen from me in college the first year REI made the Novara Method2 I even shot the commercial for the bike. Hence the beat down commuter I can't trust anything outside. This was the bike.

Same. Salt Lake bike theft is RAMPANT! Guess they finally figured out what a carbon MTB is worth.

We would go in one at a time to refill a beer, etc. Either my friend or I were always within grabbing range of our bikes. And we were always in very visible public places near city center, so it helped ward off ne'er-do-wells...
