Haha kinda sorta. More-so that I'd like to try different bikes, but can only afford one at a time.
I'll likely catch some hell but I'm somewhat tempted to give 27.5 a go :anonymous: (SB140 or 5010).

Prolly post up my frame and/or frame fork and/or full build on PB as a pseudo feeler and just go from there.
If I don't get any interest at the prices I ask, I'll happily keep riding the Tallboy as I really have no legitimate dislikes with it.

Now to determine pricing for this market...

Ah gotcha, that’ll be sweet! The idea of an SB140 sounds awesome haha

It kinda does. Stiking to 29 is the most logical as I could swap over almost all my parts (possibly have to change dropper). Going 27.5 mandates new wheels/tires/fork.

We’ll see what happens. I really like the looks of the new following which would require multiple changes of its own being superboost (wheels/cranks and dropper). High engagement hubs have ruined me, I can’t ride anything without them now...$$$

My old temptress the SB130 is prolly the easiest and cleanest swap, if I end up changing. Maybe a rocket ship ripley...hmmm

Those are all good bikes! So many good bikes to choose from it’s almost a pain haha. Does i9 offer hub adapters for super boost or do you need all new hubs?

Sooo many good options. Honestly my current bike is a fantastic option :rofl::rofl:

Yea I don’t know. If they do, that makes superboost a bit more attainable.

Haha that’s why I was wondering! The tallboy seems like a solid bike, plus you built that thing up with all those fancy bits haha

The wave of the future is funny guys on YouTube who can be very informative.

personally my favorites on YouTube are Blake and Neal from GMBN, and the owner of WWC.

Yeah I agree. Blake and Neal are a great combo. WWC is also solid. I’ve been a big fan of seths bike hacks recently too.

it’s more of thing nostalgia for me, I used to get the bike mag photo annual before I was even into mountain biking! I still have a fox poster of I want to say Thomas vanderham or maybe cam mccaul from back then. I have no idea why I’d get them but that’s definitely a part of why I eventually started.

China Camp is a fun one. About the same 40 minute drive for me too though.
Only been a few times, wishing it was closer. How's Annadel? Worth the drive from the East Bay?

The Hunt carbon wheels held up to three straight days of slickrock riding (Ahab, TWE, and Bull Run). They were fantastic! Who knows if it was the wheels, but I feel like I rode better down there than I ever have.

Annadel is great IMO and I would make the drive but unfortunately I don't think we will be allowed in there at least the rest of the year. It sustained significant damage from the Glass fire and the pics I have seen don't look good. Hoping I am wrong though.

Finally got to ride my favorite trails! They were shut down for logging, but the local trail crews really made lemonade out of lemons!
