Totally makes sense and one of my beefs with it as well. A one strap does all is a hassle remounting it back to the bike. Definitely some better options out there. I never even used it because of these two things we listed. So, I’ve got a brand new one for cheap if interested. ;)

You should be fine because you have a larger budget. Bikes in your price range have a little more availability.

Not for sure yet. Got a line on a V3 following frame. Built but unridden. Spesh shop is projecting stumpys in my size to be available later this month. SB130 is always on my radar.
Even spendy stuff is in pretty short supply, but does have a little more availability. I’m looking for frame only so it’s still on the slimmer than normal pickings side.

What bike locks are you MTB riders using for lightweight carrying when not in use? I want one with me all the time that’s good but not heavy. I have been looking at the folding ones.

Same... We rolled in Friday, and out Saturday night. Stayed out of Moab the whole trip, camped up on Klondike Bluffs. So for us, it was fine.

Anybody had any time on Revel bikes? Specifically the Rascal or Ranger.

Man I forgot and missed a demo day that a local shop was running here in town yesterday. Probably for the best since my Scout is only a few months old.

A rascal popped up on my PB search and is another I’d be inclined to try.

I have a Shimano XT SL M8100 shifter for sale. Bought it brand new and was going to put it on a Meta TR 29 to replace the SLX shifter but I cancelled the Meta TR and went with a stumpy. It uses the I-SPEC EV mounting system. I do NOT have a shift cable to go with it. I was looking for $50 shipped for it. I haven't mounted it but I took it out of the packaging out of excitement so I don't have the original packaging.

This would be a good upgrade for anyone running 12s Deore/SLX and looking for the double upshift that XT and XTR provides :)
