Can't ever get myself to buy into a Pivot's price tag, but as a lifelong Seahawks fan, that colorscheme really appeals to me.

luckily, I saved thousands buying locally minty and used 2020, but thousands saved is still too much TBH.

the guy downgraded to a 2021 Specialized Stumpjumper. When I say downgraded though I'm not referring to bike's ability, I just mean it didn't have factory suspension or X01 groupset.

Venting on bike thieves... Keep on stealing my stupid cheap Amazon lights.. Yeah I should just bring them inside. But I bike to work and lock my bike in the bottom of our parking garage with a camera pointed at a key pad locked cage to a bolted to the ground bike rack. The inconvenience of ordering another 15 $ light and security saying " Sorry" file a police report... Gah!

I got a frog knog for the rear hut for the front I have this bitchin micro usb recharging light. Thing throws like a son of a bitch, and it’s a quick release on the mount to the bars. If I rode to and from work I’d just pop it off with me every day. Rear is cheap like I said.

BLITZU Gator 320 USB Rechargeable Bike Light Set Super Bright Front Headlight and Back LED Rear Bicycle Light for Kids Adults Men Women Road Cycling Safety Flashlight Easy to Install https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014QEWX2I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_oK2PFbER8239A?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Things brighter than my Tacoma headlights  I hardly ride at night anymore though so I’m not sure on the longevity of one charge. I bring it camping though since it’s an easy recharge instead of fumbling around with aaa batteries. Just plug it in while I’m driving for the day. But from what I remember I could easily get a few hours in the brightest setting in a single charge.

That's the one they stole from us the first two times! haha we loved them. They were out of stock last time we ordered them... if they are back I am all for it.

damn! I got mine a few years ago at this point.

I’d say just pop it off. If it’s the same mount I have it’s a quick release. Takes 2 seconds on and off. And then no shenanigans of it being stolen.

Don't take the side of logic- that's what my wife says haha I felt like the double secure location with a camera would save me from lugging it around... Oh well... At least I can get a blitzu again..

Who's all on 27.5 vs 29"? Is this primarily a hardtail vs full suspension thing now? :deadhorse:

    26 hard tail :anonymous:

but I will likely be looking for a 29er hard tail. I don’t ride enough to justify full suspension cost and maintenance. I like hard tail. But with the list of add ins I want to do to my bike it makes more sense to just buy one new much closer, so I’ll probably get a 29er hard tail.

my list: 1 by, tubeless, dropper post (which doesn’t really do much with my geometry anyway though), wider bars. I did get new Shimano brakes instead of my stupid avids that were in there but that’s it. I’ll probably swap down the fork and make it my work commuter bike.

29 and 29+ here. Had 27.5 in the past

I do notice the 29er doesnt get hung up in the Utah tech trails as much, but for just general MTB, theres not a ton of difference in my eyes.

You did good Grasshopper, even though it wasn’t planned. Your subconscious decided for you and that’s part of the ancient Japanese learning process.

    Muh steed!

rather than put the effort into this I’ll probably buy a hard tail on Facebook or something. And then drop the forks on this. Probably still do a 1 by and use it as a commuter.
