Try a narrow seat. A lot of riders make the mistake of thinking more padding and a bigger seat means more comfort.
You actually want a seat that keeps your sweet cheeks together so it doesn't put pressure on you man junk. Back in my
racing days I had the same saddle for both my mountain and road bikes. At the end of the day the more seat time you have
on the bike your gonna always have a little discomfort. Just gotta find the seat that limits it.

We have that issue in our neck of the woods too (MD)! I will not complain about having new trails and additional options which are mostly smooth flowy XC trails, but I wish they would leave the old gnarly rooty, rocky, eroded trails open for those that prefer them.

Sold the Fuse to a good buddy so it’s going to a good home.

First ride on the Enduro today. It was nice. Was hesitant to move to 29er from 27.5 but today was a blast.

A 29er has to be in the cards for me soon I believe. I'm getting to the point where it wont be an issue controlling the larger size while going downhill, and the climbs here in phoenix where I ride most often seem to get slowly more difficult with step-ups/smooth rock inclines getting steeper. Extra ground clearance would be a huge life saver for me and my pedals. May consider going larger travel to. Anyone here ridden a trance 2 before and felt like the 140 travel in the rear was too easy to bottom out? I've added 3 volume spacers as well and run less sag than most. Very interested in going yt capra/canyon equivalent just because the value per dollar is insane on those brands.

I get it, and I’m thankful, but we were having a conversation on it. I don’t see you being a dick to the others that participated in the conversation.

Sucks you took that as being a dick. I was just reminding everyone, not just you, that having a steady job and disposable income to play on such expensive toys is incredibly fortunate. Complaining about not getting more in these times, in my opinion, is shitty. That's all.
I also understand working hard and not getting paid what you believe you're worth sucks. I'm a teacher for 16 years now, undervalued is part of the job description. But every goddam day since March, I've felt lucky to still be able to work and get paid. Bonuses? HA! Raises? LOL. Teachers might get a 1.5% COLA, three years from now. Most don't know what their jobs will look like next month, forget about next year.
I'm just saying that a lot of people, across the world, are hurting. Laid off, living off unemployment, barely scraping by and figuring out their living and food situation monthly. A little gratefulness for most of our employment situation would be a welcome addition to that string of comments.

You literally said “not to be a dick” because you knew your following words were words of a dick.

you have no idea what my situation is, or anyone else’s in here, so you can’t comment on it. I work somewhere on a successful program, put my time in, and do good at my job....but I’m not allowed to be disappointed that I’m not getting a raise because someone else doesn’t have a job?

there is always someone else in a worse situation than us. Always. So any complaint made ever, in the history of ever, I hope you bitch about it, because that’s what you’re doing.

Let's all play nice, dont take out our frustration on each other. There is enough bad in the world without us arguing.

@abacall Sucks man, I don't envy teachers right now. Poor kids have got to be falling behind. I can't see how they are actually able to learn anything.

Depends on the field. I have a BSME and work in aerospace QA. A yearly raise less than 3% is a slap in the face, in most year. This year, happy to have a job. BUT we had two of our team leave on their own for better jobs, so to hear "we need to lay off and can't afford to give you a raise" when....I can leave and get a 10% raise in the middle of a pandemic, that's sort of back asswards.

Teacher - I feel for you man. That's rough on a good year, let alone now. :(

Same in my industry. I've gotten two raises and a bigger bonus than ever this year. My wife's firm just handed out "pandemic bonus's" to all the associates because people are stressed out and the firm is doing well. We've been trying to do more giving this year, but this pandemic seems to be widening the gap between the haves and have-nots.

One of the reasons I was wanting a raise, was to be able to give more. I’ve been helping my family, and trying to shop the small businesses only if I can, and thankfully am able to give my family a good Christmas. Of course, everyone thinks 100% of wanting a raise is selfish and shitty.

I’m glad you guys are doing well, definitely good people that deserve it.

I knew my words might sound like a dick, which is why I though it was important to clarify. You're a bit off the rails here man, again I'm just arguing that people should be thankful for what they have in these times. Taking my argument to extremes to show fallacy is an incorrect portrayal of my message.

All good, you heard what you wanted to hear from me. Not the first time you took my comments out of context and an offense to you. Never meant it that way, so

*If you'd like to discuss more, feel free to PM me so we can keep this open to MTB life.

HandUp gloves are great, all their clothes are pretty cheaply made though. But maybe I'm just salty because their pants don't fit me.

Yeah but what about your bike shorts?

We got about a foot of snow. It looks like it might melt away a decent amount this weekend, I have the time between xmas and new years off, I was thinking of road tripping it down south but TBD still on that one. Especially with the 'rona. But if it does snow-be-gone and it's dry enough and warm enough, I might ride all week.
